My daughter started childcare 12 weeks ago in the infants room. Starting daycare is not only a huge adjustment for the child, but also for the parent. I have felt a sense of trust with the educators to care for my daughter and I have found the centre to be very responsive and reassuring to any of my questions/concerns. The educators always greet my little one with warmth and a big smile, I think this has helped her settle into the new environment. I appreciate all of the daily photo updates so that I can see all of the wonderful activities she is enjoying throughout the day. The team also put a lot of effort into hosting a Mother’s Day morning tea. It was a lovely morning with delicious food and the infants did a performance for the parents which they had practiced, which I thought was very sweet and special to watch.

My son started at Montessori when he was a year old into the babies room. He was so quick to settle in and as a family with other children who have attended other childcare’s over the years and whilst we were happy with other services we received, we feel that we wish we had of tried Montessori much earlier so our other children could also have the learning benefits.
Some reasons why I love Montessori is
- My son learns manners right from the very beginning of his day where he is encouraged to knock on the door before opening and is then greeted with a smiling friendly staff member who is there to assist you with a smooth transition to make drop offs much more happier for your child and parent. If there is any sadness they are quick to distract your child so they can settle quickly.
- My son learns to clean up after play and helps to clean up after his made a mess or plays at home.
- My son was encouraged to wash his own hands with soap and water after his nappy changes right from when he started which has carried through with his routine at home where he knows himself to wash his hands after toileting or when his hands and face are dirty and he will try to do it himself.
- My son has experienced structured learning experiences which I feel has improved his cognitive and has made him such a smart bright little boy.
- My son has been enabled to have fun with lots of free play and whilst he has had a couple of minor solo incidents due to his own explorative nature, they have been managed exceptionally well and we have been communicated with and been informed of the interventions to prevent the incident reoccurring.
- The communication is so great that I don’t feel the need to ask a hundred questions on pick up. The room leader appears to be well organised, is an excellent communicator, she really listens and hears you and acts promptly and offers suggestions to help when needed about different battles with different growth stages. Most recently she and the team also helped me with strategies to help keep my sons socks on his feet all day as he wouldn’t keep them on.
- Most of all, I feel completely confident with all the carers who care for my son, we feel the love for the children from the front door with the management team right through the centre from teachers in other rooms greeting and waving or high fiving my son when they see him right into his room where his friends and teachers are happy to see him and greet him. My son’s face lights up when he sees everyone who greets him, he blows kisses and waves.
I feel the centre hires more mature aged staff members and this I think really makes a difference. I feel like it’s one great big family at Montessori.
We thank all the beautiful team at Carnes Hill Montessori, for loving and caring for our son and for all his learnings that is helping him to grow.

His approaching 2 years now and we’re looking forward to the rest of our Montessori journey!

We've been very happy with the staff at Carnes Hill; our 3 yr old son has never attended childcare before, so his transition to preschool has been challenging but the educators have done a great job settling him. In particular he's is attached to Vivian who always manages to be able to put him at ease, and he looks forward to seeing her every day. We really appreciate how Vivian and the rest of the staff will make time to discuss with us in detail how he is doing; and the detailed daily reports and photos lets us know he's in the right hands.

The educators have taught my children so much! As a full time working mum it makes me feel so happy to see all the amazing things my kids have learnt! I’m a very proud centre manager, through all the amazing new things my children show me each day, it is evident that I have an amazing team of educators! My daughter has built a strong bond with Ms Therese and all the infant educators, they are all so loving and caring! My son has thrived so much in under a year thanks to Ms Pretti and Ms Natasa! So proud to be apart of the Carnes Hill team ?

Brand new center, friendly staff!
Center manager Rose was our Center Manager in the previous service, very experienced and such a nice person to deal with, also Educators are patient, knowledgeable, good with kids, I had
really good experience dealing with Simona, Vivian and Natasha.

I will highly recommend Carnes Hills Montessori to my family and friends, because your kids are defenitely in good hands.

Highly recommend! My boys have been thriving and that’s a reflection of the amazing educators that are at the centre. The educators are so supportive and wonderful. My boys have come a long way and it’s all through the assistance and support of the caring teachers! So glad to be a part of such an amazing centre!!

Brand new centre with amazing team of trusted and qualified educators. Miss Rose, Demiana, Parveen and Salma helped my son settle down and separate from me in the mornings easily. My son has made lot of friends, learning new things under Montessori and enjoys coming every week. Thank you Carnes Hill staff.

Absolutely amazing Staff , 10/10 the care , love and curriculum implemented everyday is beyond amazing. Miss Rose is an amazing principal along with all the teachers. Miss Pretti , Miss demiana , Miss Loryn are the Absolute best.
