This is school very bad, they act perfect infront you. But what you dont know this school has bullying, fighting everyday. My son has been bullied and it cause ptsd, he was pressured and beat up. The teachers don’t care at all, they need start to checking student for weapons. I seen one with a knife outside of school.

In my frequent travels on the T3 train line, I'm constantly witness to the animalistic behavior of Canterbury boys highschool students. It's akin to scenes from Planet of the Apes crossed with Lord of the Flies, where basic civility and politeness seems to be an alien concept.

From their vocal screeching to their disregard for personal space, witnessing your students on trains is like observing a microcosm of chaos. It's a reminder of the importance of civilized behavior in an increasingly uncivilized world.

Unfortunately, the conduct of these students reflects poorly not only on themselves but also on the reputation of the school they represent.

I would suggest for the teachers to attempt to instil a sense of respect and accountability in its students before they devolve into a full-blown primate society but I feel as though it may be too little too late.

dont send your kids to this school , teachers are bad , uneducated they dont care about your problems or fights . I got bullied at this school and lost all my friends last year everyone hated me thank god i moved schools and its way better than canterbury boys highschool so i highly do not recommend your child to this school my advice is search for a school where you can get enrolled for your child and look at the reviews first before entering into a new school because you never know!!!

I wouldn't send my kids to this school, unless you want your son to be uneducated. The teacher just Wrights what noted to him don't even bother to explain. When your asking a question on something they just reread you there answer. There are so many kids vaping, fighting and bullying but ofc they wont know because they're gonna tell you "the students are fine, they are so perfect" Also the toilets are so dirty not even hygienic. The best recommendation from me is get your son out of this school or don't put him at all. I hope this school gets shut down!

I am a parent of year 9 boy, my son attended only two terms after going to private school, he loved it and still wants to stay in that school. His experience is teachers were supportive, less stress with homeworks and he made really good friends. I have seen the difference in his attitude and I love it, more relaxed and less pride compared to when he was in private school. He became more active and kind. It depends on the child and family as well sometimes but all school staff try their best to maintain discipline. That's my experience.

Truth and honour. The exact opposite of this school, the seniors vape in the bathroom when they are supposed to be role models. Its shame as back then this school was the place you wanted to go if you wanted to get in a good university. The students overall are loud and boastful, they seem to let ANYONE in even if their grades are below average. The principal keeps lying saying that its a good school.

The librarian at CBHS is the best Librarian. Miss Gaints is the most kindest person I’ve known . She’s helped with life and with school , she’s one of a kind !
