Unfortunately not a great experience with Bridges for Learning. Overall, the care factor and engagement just simply wasn't there in comparison with other services we've needed to use. I found you really had to push for feedback on progress and suggestions for strategies to work on at home - these kind of basic expectations just simply weren't forthcoming. Other minor things such as the specialist having VERY regular personal/sick leave (with no alternatives made available, child simply missed a session), and also having a habit of looking at the clock constantly, gave the impression she didn't really want to be there. I don't like say it but it's the clearest way to describe; I found the specialists we experienced at Bridges somewhat lazy, and felt they were simply going through the motions at a far from satisfactory standard. Unfortunately in a smaller regional town such as this, options are limited so it's a shame to have settle for this level of specialist assistance.

We engaged Bridges For Learning to help our son (diagnosed with ASD) with his sensory awareness & development. Not only were the staff entirely knowledgable in this area, they were eminently professional in how they cared for my son. They were also endlessly patient with us, answering all of my (many) questions, and made us feel entirely welcome. I would recommend BFL wholeheartedly.
