We have had 2 children go through Blue Mountains Grammar School, one finished and one still attending, and we could not recommend this school any higher. From the Principal to any teacher we have dealt with over the years have been understanding and supporting. We not only have given our kids the best education but also a caring and supportive community. For anyone deciding on sending their children here please keep an open mind and go visit the school and see what they have to offer, speak with the teachers, speak with the parents & the children. Then make your decision. We all have different expectations and this school has certainly fulfilled ours.

As a student, I love the school and would definitely recommend! Amazing teachers, students, grounds and overall an amazing place to obtain your education. There are a large range of after school (and in school hours) co-curricular sporting and academic opportunities.

Raelene everyone is entitled to there own opinion. For my family the school's standard just wasn't high enough!
Our family have only recently moved all the way up here from Melbourne, well hasn't that been a ride!!!! We came from having our children in the TOP Catholic school in Melbourne to pretty much the pits in the Mountains. Don't even consider sending your children to this school. The people up here only send their kids to Blue Mountains Grammar School as there is no other private school in the mountains, except for the hippie commune/alternative types or the churchy schools that have 30 per class. Do your homework beforehand you have been warned. Im furious at the school i will tell anyone that listens this school is the pits!!!! There is approx 30 children leaving at the end of the year and won't be returning. Not surprised by that!!! I can't even begin to tell you the problems, just know you have been warned!
I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone.

I went to this school a few years back. I was pleasantly surprised upon my arrival back to the svhool last wekends. I saw one of my old teachers, a charming fellow. He ignored me and i was forced to talk to "big chop". He was a nice man but a little bit odd. Other people refered to the man as "heli-chopra" . Charming fellow indeed

Dreadful teachers in primary. You will have 2 or 3 good ones and the rest are rubbish. Everyone has complained to the Principal but he seems more interested in keeping his pathetic teachers than listening to us parents. Have had enough i am one of many leaving and taking my children out. I believe it is only still operating as it once long ago had a great reputation, sadly that is long gone. Look elsewhere!
