I always love staying here. A genuine family run operation that has the coldest beer and best food you will find in Australia. Staff are always welcoming and make you feel at home. It’s been 2 years since my last visit and today I came back to find the same people, same high quality food and service. Thank you team.

My daughter and I were travelling around the Blue Mountains for a weekend and we chose the Black Gold Motel largely based on the TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well appointed with a kitchen area, sink and fridge etc. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. We also booked in for dinner, which was great. The restaurant has a cocktail bar and an attractive menu. Everything was of a high standard, good size portions and well presented. Breakfast was also lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Gold Motel. For the price, its unbeatable.

This is by far the best Motel we've ever stayed at. We had a Two Bedroom unit and it was perfect and extremely clean and comfortable. There's a Restaurant that is not only used by the people staying at the Motel but people from the surrounding area and Towns because the meals are fabulous. |Our hosts, Linda and Rob are extremely friendly and will always take the time to check if you are ok and if everything is to your liking. |This is our second time staying with them and we will be back again in October for the big race at Bathurst. |You just have to check out Black Gold for not only a great motel to stay at but it has a Function Centre that would be great for Business functions as well.|Easily a 5 Star Motel. |Thanks Linda and Rob 🙂

Popped in for two nights while doing training nearby. Checking in and out was extremely easy due to the electronic system on the doors. Room was really clean, quiet and dark at night and the shower was great. No complaints at all! The Crib Restaurant is right there and super tasty too.

Black Gold was a wonderful experience. The layout, location, attention to detail was wanting for nothing. The decor of the formal areas, including the restaurant, was classy but not overwhelming. The food served by the chef was delicious and good value for both dinner and breakfast. The accommodation was of a high standard and included everything one could want. Highly recommended.

A Great experience. Easy check-in and communication, clean room, comfy bed, easy connection to stream on TV, The restaurant was excellent and I ate there for both dinner and breakfast. Location was good as I needed to be in Portland each day. I felt very safe and the motel had , everything I needed.
