We stayed at the hotel over the weekend and dined in the restaurant Saturday night. The duck parfait was absolutely delicious! I will be dreaming of this dish. It was one of the best prawn pastas I've eaten, and the porchetta was yum with great crackle. Enjoyed my chocolate fondant thoroughly, and the cocktails were some of the best I've had (pictured is the lychee sour, but my favourite was the berida sling!), service was great too. Can't wait to come back

The MB4+ sirloin was outstanding. I loved the flavour and the marbling of the beef. Truffle sauce was very tasty as well.

My husband and I had a five star experience here. We were staying in Bowral one night and found this restaurant by chance, and I’m so glad we did.
The service, food and atmosphere were impeccable. My husband still raves about this place and how it was the best place we ate at on our trip in Australia. We’ll be sure to come back whenever we return to Bowral.

We were staying at the Berida for a couple of days, on a very relaxing (and well deserved) break from the city. Bistro Sociale was recommended by friends, so it seemed fitting we try it as we were staying at the same space.

Food and service were both excellent. As a couple dining amongst large crowds/tables of guests we weren't forgotten about through the busy period, which is always a risk sometimes.

We started with martinis (v good) and entrees - trout, scallops. Mains were lamb and duck, with sides of asparagus and pumpkin. Both meats were cooked to perfection, with elements of pink coming through on both.

Dessert wasn't needed, but had anyway. You do what you gotta do.

If you're in the area would recommend - definitely worth the visit.

The food was excellent, everyone at our table commented on how good each meal was. The head chef, under pressure from a wedding, put up fabulous food. Our waitress Hannah was outstanding. Engaging, knowledgable, fun and very entertaining. She went above and beyond. First class service. Ambience is always good, but the service has materially lifted. Literally can’t wait to go back. As a local, Bistro Sociale is exactly what we need.

Total hit and miss. The food was good but not amazing like our previous experience.
The mashed potatoes were cold, and when we informed the waitress, she reluctantly suggested reheating them. I requested a fresh plate, which she reluctantly agreed to.

We were given the kids menu instead of the dessert menu. When asked for sliced lemon for the waters, we were given 2 extra thin slices for 4 people .

We felt rushed to leave. As we put on our coats, the next seating guests were brought to our table, and we were gestured to hurry up. The table hadn’t even been cleared yet.

We felt like an inconvenience. We understand there’s a next seating, but the way it was handled was unacceptable.

Such a shame as the venue is classy but not the service or how it's managed. You could feel the stress amongst the staff.
