My three sons have attended Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College since Kindergarten (now in Year 10, 6 and 1) and we couldn’t be more grateful for the well-rounded education and care they receive there. The teachers are professional, patient and exceptional role models. They encourage personal bests and foster a healthy level of accountability for students to make positive decisions as they grow and develop. I appreciate the time, care, expertise and kindness from BTAC staff for my boys and will forever be glad we chose this wonderful school.

Actually A channel

I got removed from this school during around 2018. The school is trash. The bullying is immense and the teachers won’t do anything about it. You would get hit by the staff members and no one liked it. Do not recommend.

I had two children complete their schooling here ,one from year 1 to year 12 ,and kindergarten to year 7 ( changed to Merewether High).
Always found the school great . I think it was better in the days of Principal Goldsworthy.

I think this school was a major part of my early childhood, I made a lot of close friends during my time here and many nice teachers, the only problems were some teachers and students that I don't think liked me very much for whatever reason. Overall a good community and school

I was here in this school when i was in year 7 ,2013. This school had seen better days when i was in year 7 long time ago. We once had the best principle that everyone loved and the best teachers we had (We still got some around here). The old principal we had long time ago cares for everyone, gives out his proper introduction and he's very social and spends time solving issues without any judgement. Not to mention doesn't particularly focused too much about the money as well.
Everything is all fun and nice til the principal we have right now, came along. That's where the golden age had came to the end, like the American Great depression of the 1920s. That's where good moments had came to an end. Like the American Dream.
Most teacher's are nice and great, it's just most of the good had left that's all

Simply put, the principal we currently have is the one to blame for most of this and how he ruined everything. The school where I've came along during 2013 is better around that time is where we had the best principal that made everything great. It's just the current one that had ruined the reputation, that's all

I agree with Mitch. He has also abused me whilst dropping of my child. He tries to act cool and fancies himself as a ladies man. I don't think there are any mirrors in his house. Management are just not interested. They are only concerned about Fee increases and the fact that this guy has 2 kids of his own in this school. With all honesty, BTAC would have to be the worst Private School we have ever had any dealings with. So glad we removed our child from this institution. Principle is not concerned about any issues as he just passes it over to he's deputy who does even less. She does have a lot of attitude though , but not to her credit.
School is also very badly maintained. Not sure how it passes accreditation. Maybe some unannounced visits would sort things. I will look into this myself.
