⚠️DO NOT ORDER THROUGH BIG W MARKET⚠️
They use couriers please which is hugely problematic. Order lost in transit and now big w market support for refund is extremely difficult to access and now can’t get my money back. This online market is a scam and big w take no responsibility for the product they sell or servicing their customers at all. Very bad experience ⚠️

The staff member at the door accused my small 9yr old son of being a thief when he left the store with a broken item that he had been brave enough to try to return. My son started crying and the staff member yelled at him to not cry. He attempted to look in his small backpack that he carries for an EpiPen and ventolin. I went back in the store and the staff member denied having harassed my son. I then raised a formal complaint and had the manager call me who spoke to me in the most disgustingly condescending way and told me the staff member said he didn’t so therefore it didn’t happen so she essentially called my 9yr old son a liar. A liar and a thief in one day to a young boy who is now too terrified to renter a department store.
What a horrible disrespectful staff they have.

I had such a lovely shopping experience and the check out clerk was lovely.

Upon check out I asked if I could return clearance items if they were faulty. She asked for assistance and the service woman who came to help told me no. I later checked online and opened a chat with a rep on BIGW website and they said absolutely, the store has to take back any faulty items including clearance. The woman took it very personal and actually started to raise her voice. A male clerk had to ask her to step away. She said she wanted to see my phone for me to “prove it”.

My clearance items I’ve purchased are baby’s clothes, I’m 8 months pregnant. I didn’t take the time to inspect each item, I bought about 160$ worth of baby clothes both clearance and not today.

Very odd experience for such a simple question, and very weird she took is so incredibly personal.

I repeated to her company policy says you have to. She said if I came for a return I’d be dealing with her because she works the service desk and she wouldn’t do it.

Besides the crazy lady, great value and lovely staff.

Don’t buy online at BigW
You don’t know if you’re buying from BigW on a third party.
If it’s a third party you have no means to return the item.
BigW wipe their hand!

We came to pick up a toaster and Coffee machine. Our order hadn't come through after 4 hours. So we decide to just rock up. The service desk ladies were so helpful sorted it for us within 15mins. Awesome!
