Good place to understand about aviation, drone and have an opportunity on the flight simulator, as well as have a go flying for real! Friendly instructors are available to answer questions. It was very insightful to know that there's even certification courses in drone - Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot) that can be offered to Year 10 kids onwards in coordination with the school!

The college offers a variety of integrated structured course for full time students. The instructors and staff there are all enthusiastic and helpful, they also operate a large fleet of aircraft, including both high wings and low wings for students' preference, they even got twins if you would like to progress further to getting a multi-engine rating. Therefore I would say this flying school is very comprehensive, you can do many sorts of flight training with them, and they are able to offer with flexibility.

While I was flying with Basair (Sydney Aviators is one of their subsidiary) as a part-time student, I was aiming to fly my solo in less than 2 weeks time. My instructors knew that and they had been very helpful throughout my training, they allocated more time slots for me and had done their best to get me up to speed to solo level asap. At the end I did my solo in just 6 days with 10 hours logged. The experience was extraordinary, I couldn't have done this without the assistance from the instructors and staff there.

Hence, I highly recommend Basair as your choice of flying school to train with. Even if you just want to explore your interest in aviation, you could always do a trial instructional flight with them. It's nicely priced and you could know if you have the passion for aviation as well as joining Basair for further training or not if you do. Seems a perfect way to remove the doubts in your mind isn't it?

I started my aviation journey as an international student with Basair in 2008. As this was my very first time living overseas, Basair staff and management were not only warm and welcoming but the instructors were professional and dedicated to my training and I am the pilot I am today because of them. The training I got at Basair was not only good but was enjoyable. Some of my best flying experiences was when I was a student as I got to fly a variety of planes and fly to different places.
After my training, Basair had noticed my potential and sponsored me as a flight instructor where I was able to build my experience as a professional pilot. Without Basair I would not have been able to have the experience that I have today. They gave me David Clark H10-66 Headset for pre trial flight but in training very bad headset. Killing your ears. Because they told me If we provide them then no one will buy great headset and no one told me before training within reasonable time to buy expensive headset to protect your ears. Not enough time, they gave me to organise my finances to buy. So, they are prioritising profits over our health. Morality left over the roof. Not all Training materials are available to student pilots in the beginning so you can’t study them all and can’t expect. Crazy.
