This place is not worthy to have the privilege of caring for our older vulnerable family members. Motivated by money and offering a service sadly lacking in empathy or care. We dodged a bullet and our father came home with us. His money was welcome and paid in advance - unfortunately he was not welcome or welcomed into what we had thought would be his home. The memory care unit is a dark wasteland of inept staff and older neglected residents who for the most part do not have the ability to question the level of care. My short experience suggests that a facility who grabs the $$$ and forgets the person and smells like stale urine should not be considered as an option. Fortunately for us they also thought the accomodation would not be suited to my father when questioned on ratios, processes and additional costs. This place needs to be reviewed without warning! I am deeply concerned about every resident in the memory unit after my observations and conversations with staff!! Please help these residents!

If I could give no stars I would, My dad was in the same clothes for nearly a week and he stunk. His bed was soiled and they were old stains!
He was there only 2 and half weeks and died.My mum was on her way to visit him, an hrs drive.They rang me to let me that he had pasted as I live in Sydney.They knew mum was driving and she had no idea. she arrived signed in rats test etc. She coded in and walked into his room and found him dead. No-one meet her and to take her aside to tell her. This is unacceptable and there are no excuses!

Terrible service, rude staff. My Grandfather was left on the floor when he was meant to have a crash mat in place and bed was left up high. He had a wound that went narcotic and when I asked the director about it she lied to me and said it was all healed. Everytime I went to see him he was in a pad in bed with no clothes on with the air-conditioning on in the room. I had a meeting with the director and another nurse and everytime I tried to speak she would rudely shut me down, he died a few weeks later and we still don't have answers. I highly recommend NOT to put a family member in this facility as everything gets brushed under the rug and they have poor care or empathy for residents.

My father's last place untill he passed away..He was treated with no dignity..left in a chair with just a nappy on..He couldn't walk so bed ridden for weeks on end..It wasn't until my niece approached the top notch there to have him in a wheel chair so he could get around..he seemed happy..but that didn't last long ..Dad fell out of the bed onto this food trolley.bruised and cut arm .They said they would put a crash mat down..I never saw one ever on the floor near his bed.The reason I'm posting this ..is because not only my dad never had the care he really needed but a friend had just posted a pic of her dear aunty up on Facebook..she too was bruised from a fall out of her bed..like she had been bashed ..Her face was unbelievable..I'm sick of hearing under staff excuse .These people are here till the day they die..They need respect and to be cared for.

Great staff, light and airy environment the down side to this place is the $8-9 budget per person per day they spend on food. They get better food in prison. I have had a family member there for 4 years and I wouldn't even feed the food to my pets. I have even had residents ask me to take them out for a meal when I have been taking out my family member.

I recommended this facility. The site has a relaxing environment under the circumstances, plenty of light into the building and views into the gardens. Staff are vey helpful, caring and attenuative to the in-house clients needs and that of visiting family. The building has several quiet areas both inside and outside allowing you private one on one time with your family member away from the room.

If I was an old person not sure I would like to live my last days there. Even though it looks very neat and tidy, the rooms are a bit tired. I am assuming the staff.

Cleaning in the rooms is done once, maybe twice a year. Atrocious.
