First time visitor to Ballina RSL club. Was visiting the town for the weekend from Brisbane.
Friendly and helpful staff from the moment I walked in to my rump steak meal and beer.
Steak was flavoursome and cooked to perfection.
Special mention to Zachary who helped me with my dietary requirements.
Highly recommended club.

Came at 2.25pm. Lunch was off but 'Snack' menu available. Hard to choose from the good range. Decided on Steak sandwich and the Pulled pork with pineapple salsa. Both were great. The steak was very tender with little fat or gristle. The pulled pork was delicious, but eclipsed by the pineapple salsa which tasted as though it may have been fresh pineapple. Considering the outlook, and the flavour of the food, was good value. Service was friendly as well.

Came for the free weekly Monday night trivia. What a great way to spend the evening! There were 6 rounds of all different topics and formats, including general knowledge, wheel of fortune and guess the movie!
The food was all the pub classics! I enjoyed a delicious parmi, while others in my family had tacos, lamb shank and pork belly. The sticky date pudding was super moist, though the butterscotch sauce was a tad bit grainy.

Unfortunately was met by a very grumpy doorman we found his attitude abrupt. The waiting Staff were lovely, the food was great, and the wine was cold. Pity it didn't start off as well.

Fantastic location and venue. Main restrurant set on the river, with fantastic sunset views
However, steaks from the grill do not represent that money. $52 for the thinnest scotch fillet I’ve ever seen in my life !!!
And the paranoia about removing menus from the table was remarkable, four times in the 25 minute period
In saying that
Great up market wine selection and along with the dessert offer, perfect to enjoy the sunset
Will be back for the wine, dessert and sunset !

Arrived at 11.30 for lunch. We found it extremely confusing and took 4 attempts with different staff to actually find out where we could eat. There was a cafe and restaurant but one was on floor level and one on level one. The confusion was the top level didn't exist. After a coffee down stairs we ventured up stairs with help and finally found the cafe. We were greeted by a lovely staff member who was extremely helpful. By this point in time we were starving and most were disappointed by our meals. The Snapper was extremely dry and over cooked. 3 of us at the table had the same issue. The batter was very greasy and fish not nice at all. As hungry as we were our plates didn't get emptied cause it just wasn't nice. Not sure whether we'll return or not but certainly not in a hurry.

I visited Ballina for work and had dinner here. The atmosphere, vibe, customer service, and most importantly, the food was exceptional. I had the baconator and apple crumble on day 1 and the godzilla burger with vanilla tart on day 2. It was amazing 👏🏾.
The service was amazing.
I would highly recommend this place.
