dont bother if you need their wifi for anything other than receiving emails... wifi speeds are disgustingly slow at 17-18mbps... my mobile with 1 bar was getting 3x over theirs at 60mbps... desks to work on (with access to power ) are too high to work on hidden away at the back of the library

Ballina library desperately needs more study tables with power connectivity for people with their own devices .
And there is an ongoing issue with a stomach-churning odour from peoples with very poor personal hygiene habits who frequent the library regularly . And inconsiderate dirty eating of foods e.g. like spreading of all sorts of food stuffs over the study tables ! 🤮

I love our library. Apart from the many books I borrow it's a hub of the community. I attend a play reading and a drama improvisation drama group I really enjoy. There are groups for mothers and young children, interesting activites for school aged children and computers available for anyone who wishes to use them. The best part about the library is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. It's a pleasure to visit. Take a bow ladies and gentlemen.
And the most amazing thing about our wonderful Ballina Library - it's free!
