Carried out 'independent' inspection on behalf of one of their members. Failed to identify and report that their member (Gabe Double Glazing,) had breached Australian Standards by not installing safety glass in the entry door.

This company and their recommendations are worth nothing. I chose one of the companies AWA recommended and therefore that supposed to be the best. I learned that no they don't teach the installers anything. No they don't find out if they have any qualifications or are indeed lying about them. They quality control nothing! They give off lumps of uncut materials and let any Muppet install them. I've ended up with everything leaking from the word go. Contacting them proved fruitless. They seemed like they may attempt to do something, but they did nothing except for confirm that the installation was defective and the installer (Lotus Aluminum, don't touch them) had not even punched basic drainage holes into the bottom of the sliding door track. This is a more than amateur mistake. Apparently Lotus Aluminum were supposed to follow the instruction manual they provide. That's some pathetic quality control and training. The AWA and who they recommend are nothing more than a money grabbing sham.

If you go to these guys, looking for any kind of technical support for a suppliers error, you will not find it here. Their advice and action is not even worth you entering into any kind of dialogue with these people. If you are having an issue with a supplier, I would recommend you just go directly to fair trading all the small claims court maybe even a current affair, because these guys do absolutely nothing.
