I am deeply disappointed with the current direction of the school community. It seems that the focus on growth is overshadowing the well-being of students. The facilities have been drastically reduced: with only two toilet cubicles for boys in junior school, a sparse library setup consisting of a few rows of books in the back of the hall, and a playground exclusively for the k-2 students. Additionally, the oval is frequently flooded, rendering it unusable for the children.

Moreover, there is a troubling situation with one teacher whose behaviour has repeatedly drawn complaints from parents. Despite our concerns, no action has been taken, leaving us to question the school's commitment to its values. While they present a facade of faith, their actions speak otherwise, especially for children who do not fit their narrow mold. This institution seems to favour conformity over individuality, wanting students to be robots rather than fostering a diverse learning environment.

There is no academic extension for gifted students, nor is there adequate support for those who struggle. The claims that “teaching is their calling” and that “your child is well-known, well-loved, and well-taught” feel increasingly hollow.

It’s encouraging to hear that they plan to cap class sizes at 26 students from 29, which is a step in the right direction, but it doesn’t address the fundamental issues we face and comes a little too late for my family. unfortunately, the kind and caring principal is no longer a man of integrity and instead is just another businessman wearing a blue tie.

Lastly, there's been another fee increase and a newly added levy for activities that were previously included - it doesn't seem right when the cost of living is out of control.

For parents seeking a nurturing and inclusive educational environment, I strongly advise reconsidering this school.

I can’t really describe my sadness at what has happened here over the past 10 months or so. This was a lovely community where my children felt safe to attend school after experiencing bullying from staff and student alike at the other Christian school with fish in their logo.

Then with scary regularity, those same staff members who made the other school a terrible place have been welcomed into roles here. It’s highly unlikely my kids will be here next year and we’re already seeing signs of fracturing among the staff starting to happen here too.

It’s sad when the local Christian schools make the public schools seem safe.

This is a lovely school, with teachers who really care about their students. It's small enough, so the teachers know all of the kids personally and there's no opportunity for them to fly under the radar and coast along doing the bare minimum. If your child finds bigger schools overwhelming, or you feel they are not achieving their potential then it's perfect.

Our children thrive at Australian Christian College. We are so grateful to have found such a beautiful school with dedicated, caring teachers and staff who hold the values of a Christian Education to a high standard. My children are genuinely cared for and their educational outcomes are a priority with learning suitable to their needs and goals for the future. I can't speak highly enough of this wonderful school.

We moved our son to the Christian College at the start of year 9 2022. He is loving going to school and it is now a positive experience for him. He said to me that he feels like he is part of a family, he feels safe and is loving learning and the teachers. I wish we had of moved him here sooner😊

My daughter loves being a part of such an amazing school. Most of the teachers go above and beyond their role to help and support the students. Her grades jumped from mainly C's to solid A's and B's in one term!
I would highly recommend ACC as better things are still coming on the horizon with Tim Shields being an amazingly dedicated principal!

Australian Christian College has been an amazingly supportive environment for both our children. Our staff are professional, approachable and highly skilled in their methods used to educate our children.
We have great relationships with our staff and our Principal promotes a possitve and nurturing atmosphere, based on Christian values.
Australian Christian College staff have proven they can adapt learning techniques to meet the individual needs of each of our children, to ensure that they gain the best possible outcome from their educational experience. I enjoy watching our children grow and thrive at Australian Christian College and I love that the staff revel in the children's achievements.

We love this school our son attends Kindergarten, and he enjoys every day; our daughter cannot wait to go to Pre-Kinergarten next year. The school provides a rich and nurturing experience for their young minds.
