I highly recommend training at Ascend! This gym has an awesome, intimate culture and community. Everyone in the gym is very friendly and welcoming.

The classes are brilliantly led by Michael who has profound knowledge across many different martial arts. He has an awesome way of teaching.

Clean, modern facilities and equipment in the upstairs mats area and there is a gym area downstairs with free weights etc.

This place is great. All the people I met there were super supportive and friendly. No one made me feel bad or uncomfortable for being a beginner. Michael is a great instructor. Really takes his time to explain and then walk around to help groups with form. Highly recommend.

I have been training with Michael at Ascend Martial Arts and I am super happy! All classes have been well planned and structured. All techniques are well explained. Every class contains proper warm-up, stretching, technique training, strength training and pair/group exercised with different pads. Highly recommended!!

As part of a group of older folk we have been fitness training for the last 5 weeks. Training is based on martial arts techniques while also building up our cardio. I find the training to be well structured and enjoyable and the trainer/owner to have extensive knowledge across many styles of martial arts. If you don't mind getting sweaty along with a solid workout then this is the place for you

I recently started a 12-week MMA course with Michael at Ascend Martial Arts and have to commend him on his ability to alter his training methods, to cover the variation of the age, skill and strength levels across our class. Totally recommend trying these guys out as the facilities and equipment are top notch. 5-stars for sure!
