I took my water loving 2 year old here to begin swimming lessons. She was so confident and loved the first lesson. On the second lesson the young instructor dunked her head under the water without warning or build up after she had been in the water for less than a minute. I have since not been able to get her back in the pool even with me. I am extremely annoyed that her confidence has been taken away. This is not how you introduce children to be being submerged and I won’t be returning.

Excellent swim centre, with great emphasis on swimming technique. It is also where my kids finally got over their fear of swimming. The smaller, teaching pool is warm so great for kids who are sensitive to water temperature. The team at the front desk are always friendly.

Shout out to Arnold's Swim Centre for being so awesome, flexible and accommodating! Today I had a brain fart and turned up 30min late for the kids swimming lessons and right when all lessons end. This was no problem tho as Indigo and the staff quickly came up with a plan. Indi ended up staying back to teach both of my kids, two different levels, a private lesson at no extra charge! What an amazing place to swim. Indigo is an incredible teacher, so great with the kids, constant laughter and fun while still teaching skills for life. I can not say thank you enough to Arnold’s Swim Centre and highly recommend them if you’re looking for the best swim centre in Newcastle!

Sadly we had a terrible experience with Arnold’s. We were told to leave our 2 year old daughter for swimming lessons as she was distressed when we were there watching. They suggested this would last around 3-4 weeks while she adjusted. We returned one week before the class had ended to find her walking on the street by herself!! After the incident, it not only took Arnold’s a whole week to contact us (despite us trying to get in contact everyday until we heard from the owner) but they could not explain how this happened and why the instructor had let her go without any parent. We asked them to install a gate to prevent this happening to any other children but they refused. This situation could have ended much worse and I would hate for any other parent to have to experience it

Great learn to swim Centre, for kids of all ages. All of our children have come through here from 6 months old through to competitive squad. Water safety is key from the very beginning. Instructors work hard to progress the kids through to the next stages, great program. Highly recommend.

Great swim program, have had our daughter enrolled since she was 6 months old, great bonding experience when they are in the baby pool between parent and child, swim teachers have always been friendly with a special mention to Indigo who has been absolutely fantastic since our daughter went into the 2 year old class.

Absolutely wonderful and iconic swim centre, we have been going to Arnold’s for over 40 years and three generations. The only boutique swim school in Newcastle with the most friendly and accommodating staff.
