The location is 100 N. 15th Ave. In downtown Phoenix. Met Arthur at the door after a 5-hour drive and he was courteous and helpful. Show up early to secure parking.

My recent dealings with the school board, specifically with Michelle Goldstein and Maura Yildirim, have been nothing short of distressing. The level of dismissiveness and discrimination I experienced was appalling and serves as a reflection of why Arizona remains at the bottom of national education rankings.
The attitude displayed by Ms. Goldstein and Ms. Yildirim was more than just unhelpful; it highlighted a profound systemic failure. Their disregard for the needs and well-being of those they are supposed to serve is alarming and poses a serious threat to the quality of education in this state. If this is the standard of leadership, I can only feel deep concern for the children who are subjected to such a flawed system.
Education is the foundation of any civilization, and when those in charge exhibit such incompetence and apathy, it jeopardizes not just the future of the students but the society they will eventually lead. Arizona's children deserve far better, and it is imperative that the values and competencies of those in power are critically reevaluated.

P.S- I see why there is a blood pressure cuff in the lobby, you will need it after meandering their blatant incompetence.

The absolute worst to contact anyone don't know why they list a number when a message just states not taking calls. They are not accepting court documents as proof of guardianship for ESA application. They give a timeframe and number to call for but your just on hold for 2+hours, I work.. there has to be a better system.

Updating - got service I need by great rep who took info given prior to phone cutting off.

The state of Arizona, bottom 5 for worst education. Need I say more. Been ranked low for years. Insanity doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Which says we like things just the way they are. Content with always being at the bottom. Strive for better? Heck no then people maybe could be held accountable. Nice and comfy collecting those paychecks. No need or reason to do anymore. Another fine working government agency..

PSA* Contact the governor as much as possible REQUESTING for the arizona constitution be revised for this departments regulations. This place is supposed to implement IDEA federal regulations being that school districts receive federal funds, (in which the department is supposed to montior to how these are being appropriated.) However the dept allow districts to get away with not giving OUR children the best possible education, allow them to break the constitution and the federal IDEA laws. You can report the department to the federal government as well. US dept of education. There is also a department that will investigate them but I will have to find the actual website to put the correct information. Ive heard ESA is better but it's even hard to find a appropritate school at that point within the distances that are feasible throughout the state. Of course if you know arizona you know better cities that these placws would be in. Which is Mesa, Scottsdale, Gilbert, areas. God sees everything from the heart and YOUR JOB TITLE WONT SAVE YOU for your DECISIONS. So sad I pray for these people as they are stuck in "the system" as well, but instead of MAKING CHANGE, the department rather just vindicate their actions. Stand up for OUR children. Why are you even involved with decisions for children? The Deaprtment AND THE TEACHERS all are not fighting for what is RIGHT for the children. Sad ! The USA is the lowest scoring COUNTRY in Education Yet the WEALTHIEST? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! You all shall see when you pass and meet your maker, I pray you all repent. Go to board meetings and stand up community! Do public comments! Contact government agencies! Report as much as possible! Fight when it's not right otherwise we sit here and allow what's happening to continue.

I was .5 years old today when I discovered Arizona teachers do not require a teachers certificate nor a degree of any sort to teach! It is solely based on the school's discretion to employ them or not. Well, folks, there you have it! Your child could be taught by someone with high school level education to prepare them for a future they never had! This is one Arizona school's are failing horribly when it comes to education! This is where our tax dollars are going! Can you imagine a high school dropout asking for a raise because he/she teaches?! Well, if you are livid, so am I. We need to fight for a bill on the next ballot that all teachers should have the minimum of a bachelor degree and a teachers certificate! Our children's future is on the line, and we can't just sit back and watch!
