This used to be one of my favourite op shops, and one of the only functional “bins”-style op shops in Sydney (where you pay by the kilo on items that are about to hit landfill); I would recommend it as a must-visit for my friends who are keen thrifters and I would visit every time I came to Sydney. Unfortunately the last time I visited, it seems this has transitioned into a more traditional op shop with clothing on racks for flat-pricing - no more bins 😞. The vast majority is now unsold stock from fast fashion / wholesale brands like Reverse or low-to-mid tier mall brands. I’m sure there’s a demographic who would appreciate these items because they’re new with tags, but I question the pricing (for example, dresses are $12 each when you can buy a Reverse dress brand new from The Iconic for $10-$13…). Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be visiting this store again.

As it is called outlet/headquarter, so I have thought it is a bigger shop with greater variety. However, the majority of items are large quantities of clothes items paled up in giant containers. I would say, it takes some luck and time to get what you need to look for.
Staff are not as attentive as other Anglicare retail shops.
However, if you are looking for really cheap clothes, shoes and some household items, there is an decent chance that you can get some luck.

Friendly staff, huge quantity of items (be ready to rummage!), on site parking, all monies raised go to find Anglicare’s community services work, and they even sell affordable kitchen pantry items - what’s not to love!

I used to go to the opp shop regularly with friends when you rummaged through the plastic bins and paid $10.00 for a kilo for clothes and manchester. We had lots of fun and purchased some great items over the years..Including when they were based over at Summer Hill.
Now they sell very poor quality clothing on hangers that you can purchase for the same price in cheap shops..
Very sad as we no longer go there . We wish they would return to how they used to be.

It's a nice outlet to visit. The staff is friendly. There a lots of tubs to go through to pay by the kilo and it can take a while to find things that you like. The other part of the store has priced items. It seems like the tubs contain pre-sorted clothes that are probably the lowest quality items, not good enough to send to the main stores but there are still a few items worth the attention. The warehouse part has a huge number of bales of clothes stored, probably to be sorted and dispatched to all the opshops in Australia.

This op shop is very confusing I must say. Not everything is priced especially the bric-a-brac items, so we have to ask the staff how much everything is. This isn't helpful for them as they're busy and they got annoyed with us. Also for some items be prepared to pay full eBay or pawn shop pricing. Which is very sad to see in a op shop. I get they need to pay for the rent and utilities but at the end of the day it's a charity for giving to people in need especially in a lower socio economic community. I only recommend going here if you like purchasing everything in bulk and paying eBay and pawn shop pricing.

This place is mainly for second hand clothing where you need to be prepared to sift and sort through huge bales of clothing. You don't pay for each item but total selected clothing is weighed. It is a matter of trying to find treasure and if you persist and go early there are plenty of treasures to find. I have found some pretty good items with high end brand names. They sell big bags of Lego and toys and sometimes you can land a bargain in the bric n brac section.
