We visited during the Christmas holidays season. We waited more than 30 minutes for our food, and some items on the menu were not available. The kids playground is good. The outdoor area is relaxing.

Bowls club itself, excellent. 5 stars.
However
Food served is different. I ordered a Thai Massamen curry. It is the oilest looking dish I have ever seen. It was swimming in oil. I took it back. I was told that it was still cooking in the bowl and that I'd had a different Asian style, every other time I've had this dish, and they denied it had been reheated - the coconut milk/cream had separated so much that you couldn't tell if any cream had been used. It's my favourite dish that I've had 100s of times before. The picture attached is where I started to siphon off the oil with a serviette before I realised it was at least 1cm deep and took the dish back expressing my disappointment. I was offered a replacement dish and after requesting a refund for the difference, was paid back. The replacement meal was Thai beef with cashew and was as expected.

Love our local ❤️ we host an open mic / jam night here at the Plateau. 3rd Saturday of the month (excluding Feb 2021) so put that in your calendar !! The beer is cold here .. nice food and plenty of space and parking. No need to register just show up and you go on the board. We are Covid safe and supply disposable mic covers, acoustics, bass and bongo drum.. but BYO your own mics and instruments wherever possible. Hear yourself with our quality sound system.. Maui Gen 2 .. speaker tower system with subs!! Come along and let’s have some fun !!

Nice club. Great atmosphere. Had a great time doing raffles and Trivia and seeing people i hadnt seen in a year. Food however is dreadful. As a visitor that comes every year, the standard of food has hit rock bottom. Ordered 3 Pizza’s that were almost inedible, steak burnt and dry chicken schnitzel was half raw.
Gordon Ramsay would have a field day in that kitchen.

The best little club locally. A great place to catch up with friends on a Friday night.
Staff are always friendly.
The new car park is a big improvement.
The new bus is much better and it's good to use it to support the club.

Still visiting on a Friday night.
There never seems to be enough tables to cater for bigger crowds some nights.

Did new years there for the end 2021, was a really awesome night, had a good laugh, dance and sing along with some old school classics, well done 👏
