Fantastic community radio station.
For those involved at the station and for the presenters - plenty of opportunities to learn new skills, meet new people and gain experience in many aspects of radio and media.
For listeners, supporters and the general community - the wide variety of shows caters for a variety of music genres, topics of interest and a variety of demographics, and also offers a variety of cultural shows - which is a an excellent representation of harmony in this multicultural country we live in.

Some other amazing opportunities that having these cultural shows available provides:
- Considering the benefits of knowing/speaking other languages on a global level and also for the many personal benefits this provides, these cultural show are great for those learning/maintaining their use of these languages,
- A great platform for those who are longing for a connection with their heritage and perhaps cultural community,

Alive90.5 has given me a platform to be myself......
My show called BE-U is aired live every Wednesday from 11am-1pm Sydney Time. I bring real live stories, a great mix of Inspirational music and words of encouragement.
Lives are being touched by the stories I bring and many, including myself have come to realize that life experiences are our ONLY teachers.
New platforms have opened for me to broaden my experience as well.

I have been listening to this station since I lived in Sydney many years ago. IT USED TO BE GOOD. Now it is full of shows you can not listen to. I will not waste my time streaming in any more. Most of the shows are in languages other than English, why?

Alive 90.5 FM is a great place for community involvement. The atmosphere is very conducive for young people with the right attitude to cut their teeth on radio experience, with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills, meet new people and gain experience in many aspects of radio.

I have been listening to this station for years. It has recently been very poor. In my opinion only 3 shows are worth listening to, the rest are VERY poorly put together, and the stations facebook page only promotes a couple of shows. I WILL NEVER LISTEN AGAIN.
