I recently had the opportunity and privilege to attend multiple workshops facilitated by Silvia Damiano and some of the inspirational team from About my Brain Institute. The lessons and information that I have been introduced to have helped me to understand more about myself and crucially, given me a greater appreciation of how I can have a positive impact, whether at work, home or socially, in all areas and aspects of my life. Silvia and the team created a space where I could be comfortable being uncomfortable. Where I could explore deeper emotions in a safe environment and develop skills to be a better leader and a better human. I provided responses on an assessment for someone enrolled in the i4 Neuroleader Assessment certification. The question and answer structure was poorly designed, leading to dirty data collection, and will result in untrustworthy analytics. The design prohibited capturing real world scenario responses, lacking both clarity and were open to polar opposite interpretations from different respondents, depending on their personal experiences. Given the responses are not accurate measurements, nor replicable, and omitted an option for not applicable, the resulting analytics from the assessment will be highly volatile and unrepresentative.
