I found the First Aid course helpful and easy to understand. The instructor Gary was very clear and made sure we understood the content before testing us, which actually ended up saving us all time.
Training Aid was helpful when I had to postpone my first booking due to sickness and I didn’t lose my spot. It was also fairly affordable! I’m happy to recommend this course

Avoid if possible! The receptionist, in addition to being unpleasant as possible, is racist and homophobic. She refused us entry to the test because supposedly our English was insufficient, the 20-minute conversation that we had afterwards and during which she repeatedly disrespected us did not serve to prove the on the contrary (2 days later we took the training elsewhere and we passed with flying colors). After this great moment littered with injustice and humiliation, Madame announced to us that even if it was she who prohibited us from accessing the test, we would only be reimbursed 50%. We obviously reported all of this to headquarters but like this receptionist the feedback is derogatory and inconclusive. Too bad that after 2 months in Australia and after spending more than $200 for this training this is our first bad encounter.

Do not go here for First Aid Training, especially if English is your second language (even if you are fluent).
I completed the course with Joe and he made inappropriate jokes, rushed through the content, was impatient with students with English as their second language (English is my first language), reminded us that he wants to leave on time, then got the entire class to complete the assessment together - in a rush, we didn’t have time to read the questions properly - and handed out the correct answers. He was impatient with students that needed more time to understand the content - he didn’t try to explain it in another way.
If a teacher asks students to turn their phones off during the course that is completely reasonable, but not when they use their phone multiple times during the class.
Students who paid extra for the advanced first aid were rushed through 6 slides - completely inadequate to grasp the concepts.
The place is dirty, there is a single bathroom - which would be ok if it was clean - but it was disgusting. The room was filthy, the desks had clearly never been wiped.
After completing this course I don’t feel confident about what to do if I had to administer first aid.

I would never recommend it, the teacher doesn't help you in anything other than being very rude, and he tells you what it is and if not then you go and pay again. Better if you do it somewhere else because it will be much better. Never Darlinghurst
