Beautiful historic building with plenty of stories and pieces of history inside to explore. Guide at the front counter was a delight to talk to and was also extremely knowledgeable about the building and the town's history.
Be sure to get a demo of the Lamson cash delivery rail system, possibly one of the last standing of its kind in Australia

Absolute must-see! Can’t leave Coolamon without seeing the last of its kind cash delivery track systems in Australia! Perfectly demonstrated by a local volunteer. Unfortunately some missing pieces in the history of the town of Coolamon, would visit again! If ever again in coolamon

I remember visiting the Up To Date store back in February 2018 as the tour guide John was very informative not only about the store itself, also the town of Coolamon. It's worth a visit if your ever travel down south to the Riverina region.
