I really enjoyed – and got a great amount of value out of – the CCE course on project management with Angela Chellas. I'm not use to 9am-5pm training sessions, but Angela made the time go by quickly. And we got taken out to lunch ?

Wish I had read the reviews before attending… this was the worst up-skilling experience I have had. The teachers for each course were glamourised scammers, spouting harmful messages about “people from concentration camps choosing to be victims when they could have made the most out of their lives” and that the women in the class would have a hard time practising a speech that was written for men. There were also other things that came up and one of the two teachers was just completely incompetent. The fact that this is associated with the University of Sydney implies the people taking these classes are good at what they do or have some skill but after making a complaint I was told I wasn’t eligible for compensation because they flicked through the slideshow and ticked the box. Would never ever ever go here and suggest everyone save their money.

Good courses offered to gain continuous learning! I tried two couses: Data Visualisation & Story Telling and Business Analytics course, both are 8-hour course in 1 day. The facilitators have good real life example from field, and can let you appreciate the concepts better. It can help with personal growth and career improvement. I would highly recommend these courses.

After completing Excel course 1 - I moved myself and colleague on to course 2. I felt it was also a wonderful learning experience, some time was spent focusing on some skills in course 1, which was good to refresh minds. However it felt as though everyone lost ability to concentrate by 3pm, which left and hour and half of class with everyone desperately trying to maintain focus (or perhaps that was just me?!) - Maybe it would have been worth it to recap course 1 at the end of the day rather than throughout. Great content and take home resources to self learn, great lecturer also!

I did a beginner's German language course here and I was very disappointed. Firstly there were 20 people in the course - which is just too many for a language class. Secondly despite being advertised as a complete beginners course, most of the other students enrolled had done German before, so they completely dominated group work and had no patience with any one who was a genuine beginner. The tutor was competent enough I guess, but as others have mentioned the CCE customer service either completely rude or non-existent. Once they have your money they don't care what kind of an experience you have.

BEWARE - awful customer service and TERRIBLE language courses
Take great care in purchasing anything from this centre as their insane cancellation policy is 24 hrs from date of purchase. A refund was refused even in the case of a serious health situation - absolutely zero compassion, disgusting and shameful.
The Italian language course that I have done in the past was also absolutely awful - the teacher spoke English very badly and generally, the course was just all over the place, she was impossible to understand and follow, could not answer questions properly, I learned almost nothing (and I generally have no problems with learning). Stay away. Go to the Italian Institute to learn Italian.

The Google AdWords course was very good. I would say that if you're a medium to high end user of AdWords this training may not be for you as it does cover a lot of the basic concepts of AdWords and Campaign creation.

Having said that the trainer was very informative and very willing to discuss business cases in both theoretical and practical applications. The Centre itself was very well catered and professional with mac's for each user and the neccesary amenities provided.

This was my second course run by Lynn, and I can recommend them to new and more experienced photographers who want to further develop their skills and confidence in Street Photography in all its many facets. Lynn is encouraging, attentive and excellent in bringing out the best in all attendees, no matter what their background and abilities. Refreshingly open, and a great immersive experience, and I have no hesitation in recommending to others.
