We toured a few childcare centres in our area and chose Greenwood Burwood East. Our eldest has been enrolled there for over 4 years. They have great facilities. Despite the turnover in staff, there has always been a lot of really good educators. Our children really like the food that the chef Hue prepares for them and she loves greeting all the kids & parents at drop off in the morning. She does very well to cater to all the centre children's allergies and dietary requirements. The permanent manager Sonia is very friendly, passionate about her job and responsive to any concerns that arise.
Our only issue would be the constant increase in fees over the past 2 years that has occurred every 6 months, and we hope this doesn't continue into the future.

Very postive and family friendly centre. The location is a blessings- plenty parking space , playarea facing water fall, tram moving road view - wonderful place for little toddlers to explore .....

Staffs are wonderful - centre management team Sonia and Nadika are absolutely best I have seen so far in my 8years of fatherhood....

Team members like Sonia , Jenny,Kim,Yolanda ,Dinushi, Rohini,Vicky,Vajira and many others whom I don't know by name are most caring educators I have ever seen .......

Last but not least Chef Hue - She is so loving that always greets kids and parents from the kitchen.....

My child moved to this centre in the mid of the year - but her transition is so smooth that during the weekends she wants to go to centre ....

My son is a high sensitive child, I’ve tried to send him to few different childcare before but none of them can settle him, he just getting worse and cried badly from the other childcare. Then my friend recommended Greenwood to me, I feel so thankful because since then my son started to like going school. He never cry when saying goodbye now, instead he will run into classroom with a big big smile. He told me he loves this school and the teachers all treated him so good. Thank you greenwood and the super friendly educators! Highly recommend this childcare to everyone!! 🙂

We only let our kid stay there for 2 months then we transferred to another one.
Educators are not stable. We experienced 3 educators who came and left.
Staff are careless. They even put the enrolment date wrong (nearly one month later), which caused we could not receive any CCS. And they told me they can do nothing. If we did not insist that we will go to VCAT, they still didn’t want to make the compensation to us.
Not a happy experience there. Hopefully they could do better in the future.

Both of my daughters go to this centre. Everyone there is nice. This centre is new and fully facilitated with a few outdoor playing areas. The educators are doing well in teaching and guiding children. It has been two years since my older daughter started, and I have witnessed its great process of improvement. Great works!

We are so grateful that we found Greenwood. My daughter who was born during lockdown, was always unsettled when she's around strangers. We had a few challenging weeks at the start of sending her to Greenwood where she would cry and refuse to let go of us, but soon enough we observed her running into class with a big smile on. The 1 hour drop off has now become 1 hour pick up because she just doesn't want to leave! All of these thanks to the amazing educators at Greenwood, I have seen the dedication and passion they put into caring for the children in the centre. And I don't know what it is, but for a child who refuses to eat at home, to finish 2 serves every single time, the food at the centre definitely deserves a mention!
