Located across from Edgecliff Station and has multiple drop off/pickup spots and times for the different grades to minimize disruption to local traffic.
Took a tour there as prospective parent and was highly impressed by well-spoken second graders who greeted us (with eye contact!) and took us to our appointment.
I appreciate their method of teaching their students to plan out their work and manage their time from the youngest age; wish I got that in grade school!

Despite the high rates of depression and anxiety my daughter has excelled in this school. The combination of a fear and reward teaching style has both made my daughter submissive and quiet. She gets extremely high grades and lacks the social skills required to get into her desired engineering degree. Despite the head of the school exhibiting qualities seen in most dictators, they get results. If only I could afford the tuition for my other eight children, all of which are non-verbal and illiterate. Thats why I’ll plan to send them to public school. A little elitism didnt hurt nobody :3

Good looking private school, but not very good sportsmanship. Played a game today and left after one of the players told her friend not very quietly that they need to get around “this little piece of sh**” to score a goal, referring to one of my friends. Referee also told my coach “you know you’re loosing, right?” after she told us to defend. Came here with a smile and left feeling insulted. Nice school, probably nice teachers and everything else, but be prepared for bad sportsmanship if u are going to compete here.

The school grounds are amazing, brilliantly kept and on a deceptively large plot of land.

It's lovely how the Victorian buildings and the greenery interact - and so close to the city!

Boarders get no aircon in the houses and in summer the top floors will easily get to 40 degrees, during this time I was getting to sleep at 3 am for over 4 weeks which took a toll on my work and mental health. also we should have recess on weekends.

My partner talked with the finance manager (sound like a middle aged man) the other day and his attitude was completely rude.
He was impatient and couldn't even understand what he was asked for. That he treated people like a fool, make me question the quality of Ascham.

I went to a function at Ascham a while back and it certainly is an impressive institution. I've heard nothing but positives from the former students and other associates of the School. Over 125 years running too!
