I recently reached out to PAT Dogs Australia to enquire about training my dog to become a qualified assistance dog for my medical and mental health diagnoses, and I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Chris. Honestly, he was the most extraordinarily helpful person I’ve encountered in over a decade.

Chris took the time to have an hour-long conversation with me, providing clear, transparent, and unbiased advice. His focus was genuinely on helping me navigate the process, not just promoting PAT Dogs Australia. He even pointed out other options available, which showed how much he truly cared about what was best for me and my dog rather than trying to pressure me into their program.

Living in Canberra, I struggled to find much information on assistance dog training and felt lost about where to start. Chris called me very quickly after my online enquiry and walked me through the entire process from start to finish. His knowledge, kindness, and willingness to help were unmatched.

Sorry excuse of a "disability support organisation" - they could not care less. I have seldom received such unsatisfactory customer service. Their marketing material makes them stand out from the competition but I recommend you look elsewhere if support is what you seek.
