Dr Aman is kind with his time but old school with his opinions and willingness to try options. He’s extremely risk averse and not very forward thinking. He prefers easy, standard issue, patients. The practice is also technologically behind the times in not issuing an electronic Medicare rebate unless you pay in person (for example for Telehealth you’d have to make a separate trip to the practice to pay as paying over the phone does not enable Medicare processing at this practice.)
They also don’t do e-scripts!

Had a great experience with Dr. Arman Babajanyan.
We were recommended KidMed from Nepean hospital to help with tongue tie. The reception staff were also great and managed to squeeze us in sooner so that my son could be seen to before he was a month old. When attending the appointment we assumed that only the tongue tie would be addressed but Dr. Arman was such a fountain of knowledge and went above and beyond. He was able to advise us on other issues and concerns and give some great advice. He was very caring with our boy and made us feel so looked after. My son has really improved with his feeding and is gaining so much more weight. I can’t recommend this clinic enough. Thank you!

Receptionist is wildly rude.

Had an appt. booked for 3 months in advance. The day before the booked appt. she calls me to say the appointment needs to be rescheduled with no reason behind it. I was already angry because my son's Dad and I had to get the day off work and explained this to her. She says the best she can do is two weeks from now. Calls back a few hours later and magically can fit us in on our scheduled day, just a bit later. Great!

After our appointment my son, who we are seeing a paeditrician for behavioural issues, was touching things on the counter. She was visibly rolling her eyes, snatching things from him and huffing and puffing dramatically. Don't work in a profession that deals with neurodivergent children if you hate them so much!!!!

I told her she was being rude and she said "i worked so hard yesterday to get you in to your appointment today". We had booked that appointment three months beforehand so thanks heaps for uhhh getting us back in on the day we had been booked for in the first place?

Won't be back.

This clinic prescribed category 4 and category 3 drugs to my two children without ever actually examining them whilst they were in another persons care. What pediatrician doesn’t speak to their own 12 and 14 year old patients for Christ sake 🤦🏽‍♀️

Unfortunately, I have not had a positive experience with Kidmed. I originally attended with my 2.5 month old who was refusing breastfeeds and did not take a bottle. I was told that she does not have a tongue tie, and she was prescribed reflux medication, despite not showing any reflux symptoms and the paed being hesitant to diagnose the issue as reflux, but did not offer any other potential insights. After trialling the reflux medication with no success, I ceased this. I sought assistance from alternative professionals and almost three months later of issues, she was diagnosed with tongue tie. I had a follow up appointment with Kidmed, and upon my arrival was told “there is no appointment, you cancelled the last one”. I explained that I emailed the reception one month prior after being contacted about an upcoming incorrect booking date, to confirm the actual correct next appointment, which was responded to by staff, but never amended and therefore, wasted my time by attending for an appointment that they never appropriately booked in.
In my opinion, save your money and it is definitely worth the travel to obtain professional help elsewhere.

We had incredible support at Kidmed over the past five years. When my family wasn't Australian citizens yet, we didn't have access to government services. But people at this clinic became very important for us, helping us through my child's health problems with kindness and gave us special care. We saw two doctors here, Dr Gill and Dr Arman. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so friendly and understanding. The front desk girls went out of their way to help us, and their kindness meant a lot. What I love about this clinic is how they make us feel special. They helped us with everything we needed, understand my child's needs, explaining things in a way we could easily understand and guiding us through the tricky healthcare system.

I recently visited Kidmed with my child as a centre with a very good reputation and our doctor was amazing.
The receptionists were incredibly friendly. They made us feel welcome right from the start and even offered to spend some time with my child, drawing and sharing her apple, when I needed to run back to the car. That extra touch was heartwarming.

My little boy has been seeing Kidsmed since he was a new born. He is now 5 years old and so well looked after from ALL the staff at KidsMed. They not only look after his vast physical needs from eating, bowl movements, physical development and motor skills but also emotional and social challenges The team at kidsmed are so supportive to my little boy and also myself giving me advice and tools to help my son. They make us feel at home every time we visit. The receptionists do every thing they can from printing out special colouring in sheets to remembering things he likes to make him feel important and welcome. The facility is so beautiful and bright with colours and activities for kids, it feels happy and welcoming when you walk in, just like the staff. I must say I have known most of the staff for years and get a hello hug even from Doctor Babajanyan himself. It is a place where you kid isn't looked at with a label, they are a person a beautiful individual in which kidmed do all they can to support your child but also yourself. I recommend using them for any concern, they are happy to help with every stage of development
