I was served by a very friendly and helpful staff memeber named Miles.
He taped 3 bean bags together by their corners which really helped me out alot.
Very happy with purchase and Miles was very pleasant to talk too.

This is the biggest and most well stocked craft shop in the region. With a great selection of quilting fabrics and yarns. It can be a little messy and not enough staff but great specials.

Went there today, the lady at the desk was very kind and helpful. She helped us identify the right product from all the various options. Huge variety of products available. Will definitely go there again next time. Thank you.

The store has items that they sell as per normal in a large building that has seen it's expiry date. The location of the store has very limited parking close by. Mostly paid parking from Wollongong council that charges for almost everything they can. All I will say is, the new store at Albion Park Rail beats this store hands down and has friendly staff. Some of the staff here are as old as the building.

I’ve Been coming to this store with my mother for over a decade now, when I was walking out with a trolly which they provided this older lady screams at me from across the store, I kept walking because surely she’s not speaking to me like that.apparently something with breaks and they’re liabilities or something… you’d honestly think they would provide trollies as the things I purchased couldn’t be carried by one person let alone a person with a physical disability. I do appreciate that they ended up carrying it to my car but this doesn’t change the fact that this older woman spoke down to be like I was a thief! I was the only POC in that area of the store at this time. This was very embarrassing and humiliating. My own mother doesn’t even yell at me like this! I honestly feel as though spotlight is stuck in the past seriously no one forces you to work you chose that yourself, treat the people that keep the business you work for open with dignity and respect. I honestly feel sorry for the workers because if she spoke to me in that foul manner I can’t even imagine how she speaks to them.

The male employee working the checkout this afternoon (14/12) was very rude and passive aggressive. I was trying to be polite and he spoke to me like I was an idiot. Really weird and unpleasant experience. I work in retail, I get December sucks - not the customer’s problem.

Always a great experience at spotlight, Wollongong. Got exactly what I wanted and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.
