A wonderful venue. Really beautiful location right in the beach with everything you need for a pleasant and easy stay. Beds were comfortable and plenty of blankets.

Terrible!!!!!!!!!, Not community oriented at all, they don't care about the average person, hypocritical, don't care abut the average joe - very judgemental - a few months back my mum had a double hip replacement surgery, and it started pouring down rain when we were on Horderns beach, and the caretaker of 'Bundeena House' came out verbally abusing us and shouting at us (I simply wanted to use the alleyway to get through from the beach to the roadside as my mother could not walk along the beach on the sand as it was hurting her incredibly and massively - in the absolute downpour of rain, as her hip was extremely sore and aching, as the caretaker came out shouting and yelling at us that it was a "private property" (arms crossed in an angry stern way) we have lived here for 40 years, total locals, and we were totally abused by this as called caring christian "caretaker" of the Bundeena House - we were disgusted at his behaviour - even after I explained that my mother was post operative double hip replacement surgery, he did not care at all and continued to yell and scream at us for being on "private property" - I continued to explain that she was sick and could hardly walk and asked him to be sympathetic to us, and he did not care at all and threatened to call the police on us - its no wonder that Catholic/Christian/religious numbers are dropping when they have this attitude to the common local/community...very disgusting, would not recommend 'Bundeena House' to anyone and would describe it as a hypocritical religious cult and little better considering their poor attitude to he common joe in need of some help and human sympathy and assistance. considering she was an elderly person who had had double hip replacement and health issues..showing council to please remove his blight on the Bundeena community and turn it into something community based and worthwhile and productive, like an AirBnB just remove the hypocritical religious cult angle from it for everyones sake and the Bundeena community.
