There isn't much more to be said than has been said before me but there is simply no leadership from the top to make sure that the club is run properly. Firstly instill a proper grading process. Get people who know what they are doing in setting this up properly. The cricket club I am associated with has the club president overseeing the process, for all age groups. It's chalk and cheese when compared to this mess.
The club president will never be seen, not a gradings, not at club presentation day. No one cares about your chaplains. Get someone in who is willing to take an active role in the basic fundamentals of ensuring the football club is run properly.
If you are looking for a local club to play and don't care about the way it is run and managed, have no interest in coaching, don't care if the grading is a joke, then this may be for you.
If you actually want the best for your child and want a club which invests a bit of time in ensuring players are graded appropriately and respects the people who help get the kids on the park on a weekend (the coaches and managers) then steer away from this club. There is no shortage of choice in the area anyhow.
As a postscript, we were scheduled to play Hills Knights, this morning at 8.30am and they simply didn’t even turn up. They lodged a forfeit request at the time of the commencement of the match. Clearly their team knew they weren’t going to play, but didn’t have the respect or decency to notify the association or our club that they weren’t playing.
I am aware from discussions at the last match that many of that teams parents were very unhappy at the club and will look to leave at seasons end due to the poor grading that has left many players playing above their skill level
One positive is that the dead 'wood' is now gone from the club committee. They were horrible representatives of the club.
