Came in here to top up my opal card and get some lotto/check tickets. I was very sternly told that it will not be done unless I agree to pay the transaction in cash. I asked if Opal transactions were a part of the services offered at this newsagency. The older man behind the counter stated they were, but because they do not make money on the transactions, he refuses to serve me unless I pay in cash. When I point out the only atm in the entire centre is out of service he told me it was not his problem. I walked away without being served.
I have never been spoken to so rudely and been refused service, although I had a legal way of completing the transaction. I highly recommend avoiding this place.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this news agency for 20 years, and I can confidently say that the service has always been exceptional. Just yesterday, I went in to check my lotto tickets, and as always, John, the owner, was absolutely lovely.

He explained everything clearly and professionally, and the service was as smooth and friendly as ever. John always goes above and beyond to create a welcoming environment and is extremely courteous.

It’s honestly shocking to see some people leave such harsh and blatantly false reviews. Having been a customer here for decades, I can say with certainty that this business operates with professionalism and integrity. Some people really need to think twice before leaving horrible reviews when they’re clearly making things up. This is, without a doubt, the best newsagency in the area!
