Beautiful temple dedicated to goddess Shakti. Never been here before. Not a lot of parking but we were lucky I guess. The temple has this sorta energy you feel that very few places have in the sanctum. The priests and the temple managers were lovely to talk to. A must visit

A huge number of cars often turn local streets into a private carpark. Streets such as Chircan st, Peter parade, and Faulkner become small lanes, that allow one driving direction, from about 5-9pm. This happens almost daily and gets extremely bad in several weeks of the year. Many cars park on drive ways and people unsafely cross the roads. Residents cant drive into the area, or in/out of their houses This is one of big issues with this oversized temple sitting in residential zone. Attendees only come and leave within an hours so they don't know the burdens that locals have to bear. it is the fault of the temple's owner , who deliberately makes dislikes between attendees and locals.

My partner and I got married in Sydney Shakti Temple recently. The temple is very peaceful. The temple owner (Mr. Muthu Menon) and the Pandit ji are very humble and good-natured people. Mr. Menon kept me very well informed up to the wedding ceremony. He coordinated with the vendor and made sure I liked the decorations. I am glad I found this temple because I live in the US, and good coordination through phone/text was of utmost importance to me, and Mr. Menon did that wonderfully.

Om Sakthi Vel kovil established for over 30 years servicing the community from dravidian expatriate communities hailing from bharata, lanka, Africa, Vito Islands and beyond.

Staff are pretty arrogant. Alot of money being collected. No devotion or care. No smiles on their faces. Some devotees try their best but Gurrukals drive teslas by day and are pujaris by night. They won't even make eye contact with visitors.

More publicity and attitude of seva needed.

This temple needs to improve their parking and traffic situation as they cause a tremendous amount of disruption to the local community.
