WOW worst meal I can remember in a long time. Horrible service rude staff. Meals were pretty much inedible. Then to top it off one of the “chefs” went to the toilet with blue gloves on and came out with them on and went straight back into the kitchen and we could see him walking around in the kitchen. We didn’t eat anymore after this and left. Hope a health inspector reads this. 🤢🤢

Since amalgamating with the Wollongong Golf Club, the Ex-Services Club has taken a few hits. It was great to see it on Anzac Day, where the place was bustling with Two Up; music; and food options from His Boy Elroy. I think the members are hopeful this place can turn a corner and be more inviting in the future.

Well what can I say, shocking service! Absolutely no greeting at the bistro or bar.
Ordered a roast of the day and paid $$22 non member price and the portion was so tiny. Saying this it was tasty but horribly small.
Our meals toke aggggggeeeeeessssssss to come out such a long wait and it wasn't busy. Not one staff member even acknowledged us at the bistro.

Wow....you wouldn't want to be in a hurry. Slow service, inattentive staff. The Chef couldn't keep up with all the orders....when my Chicken Salad finally arrived pleased to say it was good. After eating, the table wasn't cleared even though there were 3 staff members literally doing nothing. However the Chef was labouring away still trying to fulfill lunch orders

Ate here on Saturday 17 for dinner , ordered 2 steaks both medium well , 1 was well under cooked and bleeding through the mash the other was like eating leather , never eat here again ,, terrible !!

Service was bad right from the beginning - no one was at the entrance to acknowledge patrons. We had a group 18 of seniors come into the bistro. As soon as we walked into the bistro we were told that there was only one chef working and that the food would take some time to come out. The staff didn’t assist with providing an explanation of the food that was on offer making it extremely difficult to distinguish what plates were coming out. The food was then distributed to the wrong patrons leaving a couple of people without any food. When I questioned them about what happened to the food she blamed the clients for taking the wrong dishes as they were coming out. I then spoke to the manager who had lack of interest in providing a solution in meeting me half way, just that I have to pay for another meal. So then had to pay for an extra meal!! Service is atrocious, WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN!!!

You need to put a better chef on that can cook lovely meals. I have eaten twice at the R.S.L and both times my meal over 30ims and both times the fish was raw. I took back I told them I can't eat this, look the fish is raw. Staff just smile at me. Horrible service, will be telling my friends,and they will tell there friends. Bad for business, get a NEW Chef
