I was able to find most of what I wanted. The party (costume) section left a bit to be desired though, seemed to be a much smaller range than some other Spotlight stores, mainly catered to kids, and was very messy. And the lady cutting fabric was not overly friendly. I asked a couple of questions only to get one word answers, and tried to strike up a conversation about what I was planning to sew, but it was like talking to a brick wall.

Younger lady at check out simply arrogant, why work in customer service roles to only be arrogant and disrespectful? Didn’t receive a Hi, how you going, have a good day - nothing. Only words said was “would you like a receipt”. Otherwise good products.

What a great experience ..didn't great the ladies name ..she was a beautiful friendly person and cares and is greatly appreciated to be part of your team ..she cut me some fabric and a single mum ..you are so lucky to have her on your team .. merry Christmas ..I only passed through and she made my day ..be kind x

horrid service and meaningless solutions given everytime. i buy frequently from spotlight and most times, either they charged me more than they should have, or item i bought had stuff missing or was damaged. its fine if it happens once or twice, but nearly every single time i visit? seriously? i bought a food stand the other day, it was on clearance, and go home to open it up, and there are peices missing. how the hell am i meant to secure the thing if there are pieces missing? i go and drive all the way back to spotlight for a refund. manager says its against store policy to provide a refund or exchange on clearance items, and that its “not our fault that the item came damaged from the warehouse”. ok its not your fault but it is your RESPONSIBILITY. its held in YOUR STORE and as the manager you should be responsible. how was i meant to know that the item had stuff missing when i bought it? i did not know about any missing items, and cant even return it. my consumer rights allow me a refund for a faulty product, as the item had a serious problem that would stop someone from buying the item if they knew about it firsthand. stores cant rely on “store policy” to get out of giving a refund, as the item was faulty before i took it home. rude manager gave store credit as “a one time thing as we arent allowed to do this but im doing it to make you happy”. i dont care it is only $15, its about the PRINCIPLE. horrid customer service. happens every time. rude employees and horrid manager. get your crew to learn their job if your gonna manage a store. and also learn about consumer rights, rather than relying on “store policy” to make the seemingly stupid customers “happier”. i received store credit but am still extremely unhappy. fix your service and learn about rights. i dont give a shit if its your policy. the item was already damaged beforehand. whether it was from the warehouse or not, its held in YOUR STORE, therefore you are responsible. the amount of stupid people running stores nowadays in insane. horrid service every single time. get your act together.

Great selection. Hard to find staff to ask questions. Specials not always good prices. Sometimes advertised at a better price than sale a few weeks beforehand.
Staff are nice but preoccupied with filling shelves. Spotlight need to focus more on their staff as they are really great and helpful when not rushed off their feet.
Great location, easy parking. Clean and tidy store.
