Located at Western Sydney University, Hawkesbury Campus, Clydesdale Lane, Richmond, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. This is a little gem. It’s a great place to bring children as there’s a wonderful play area. The paths are great as the just lead around what you want to see. There’s a great little trampoline area for children young and old. The little gift shop has some wonderful items to look through and buy if you want. The cafe is great but I just loved the scones, jam and cream - so yummy 😋. The plants placed around the area helps make it even more welcoming. The staff are really friendly and helpful. You can also go for a horse ride if you want to. I didn’t know this place existed before I came here and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Well worth the visit. The amenities like toilets are good too. A definite Thumbs up 👍👍👍

A hidden gem tucked in the UWS campus. Outside the garden were some horses and two very cute and friendly donkeys. My kids enjoyed feeding and petting them so much that my daughter said she wants a pet donkey.
Inside the garden, there were chooks and guinea pigs which the kids could also pet.
There was a little playground and a cafe inside the garden/nursery too.
The staff here are all volunteers and very friendly. They made us felt very welcomed.
I am planning on taking the kids here again and next time I’m going to order a cuppa from the cafe and just sit and watch the kids play while enjoying the warm winter sun and being surrounded by beautiful greens and flowers.

Went there with my wife today. Such a peaceful place and lots of plants for sale.
We both had a salami toastie for lunch and it was yummy. Then we had scones with jam and cream. The scones were so good and just melted in our mouths. The cafe is run by friendly and very helpful volunteers and worth supporting at very reasonable prices. Some wonderful playing areas for the kids. Do your self a favour and go and visit.

Wow what an amazing place to unwind and spend time with your family with beautiful plants, animals, grounds, play area and people.

Fantastic facilities toilets, activities, cafe, chickens, plants, gardens and soooo much more.

It has a wonderful fenced playground for the kids and you can get a bite to eat and drink at the cafe.

Such an enjoyable place to spend time, relax, have fun, stock up on plants and garden wears.

I love The Secret Garden & Nursery, thank you for what you have and do 🌱🪴🌷

Such a special little place to go sit and enjoy a lovely coffee and lunch from the cafe, take the family, have a picnic, let the kids play in the kids area and even visit the animals.

Great place to take toddlers and little ones - with lots of meandering pathways, chickens, goats, and trampoline areas (level with ground) to appeal to the kids.

Staff were so friendly. Cafe was a bit hard to spot (just an inconspicuous serving window opposite the kids playground). The kids playground had great shelter from the sun.

Such a beautiful nursery in the grounds of Hawkesbury UWS Uni. They have a huge range of different & some unusual plants. They also have a cafe in a beautiful mud brick building with light lunches & great coffee.
