Make sure when you need to cancel a lesson before hand. Even if you have done all the right things, they will still tell you that your cancellation is received and tell you due to their admin human error, you will be charged. When I try to tell them I have cancelled a lesson and already been given a makeup lesson, they told me I could not have the lesson because they made a human error. When i try to express my shock for being treated like this, they told me ‘you should not talk to people like that’. So I guess great value for money because they teach you both music and manners. I have all the original conversations if any one wants to take a read. I posted a piece of the conversation to show that the person (Jade) allowed her admin to make human error, which actually was the admin person lying about when i made the cancellation. I was on a trip on 1 July and didn’t contact the school at all. Bad management.

A wonderful academy who are dedicated to their students and families. We have had the pleasure of being apart of this academy for 9 years where we have seen our son grow into a great musician and his love and passion for the drums shines through his performances. Can't recommend these guys enough if you are looking for tutors that will guide share their passion for music look no further than NMA.

If you're considering learning a musical instrument, or progressing your singing abilities, or enrolling one of your children to further their music dreams; then I recommend the National Music Academy as they are a well run, caring organisation with highly skilled qualified and engaging teachers supported by friendly helpful admin staff. The facilities at their King Street facility are also excellent. And it caters to all ages, from the young to the not so young, like myself who at the age of 62 years old decided to pick up a guitar and have lessons so I could learn to play. It's great fun. Try it.

I have had two of my kids learning at National music academy for over three years - one on drums and the other guitar - could not be more happy with the professionalism and communication of all staff and teachers - My kids love going and learning! I’ve been going to the academy since November last year, to learn DJing. I feel thankful to my teacher and the academy, if it wasn’t for you guys, I won’t know where to start. If you need learn anything about music, this place is highly recommended. I wouldnt worry about the price because it is totally worth it!!!
