Vey friendly schools with a lot of friendly students. This school is altogether a mediocre school because the amount of people who attend it. They started patching up the grass area and making new classrooms. Also very few opportunities to try out for a PSSA sport such as basketball as there a a lot of people who try out.

The school is amazing, we just started this year.
Speaking from first hand experience, Mrs Pattihes is one of the most patient, committed, engaging person we have seen so far.
We have no doubt our child will receive a lot of positive influence from the school and become a benificial member for the community.

I joined in year 3 at this point there were already over 1 thousand students more than any other school i'd been to (I'd been to 5). By year 6 there were so many students it could've been to 2 thousand or more it would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that the school is much too small. The oval was filled with classrooms there were only tiny patches of grass left for us to play. It felt way too academically focused as for sport we had to leave the school 50% percent of the time. Very annoying but I still had a good time in the end.

Population density too high. Either limit new students each year or expand school grounds (former is probably better).
School grounds were alright during my time there, however I was informed by other sources that due to the high density of students in the school, demountables were instated and replaced play areas, but I won't comment on that due to no experience.
Canteen is too expensive, and if I remember correctly it was commercial (hence the incredibly inflated prices).
Overall is/was an alright school, but not sure how well that point stands today.

The teachers at Carlingford west are extremely professional,polite and understand all the students needs and abilities.
