Was great to see inside the house and find out it's interesting story! The gardens were lovely as well.
Would have liked to see more of the house as only 2 rooms avail.

The sign outside says:
"BRONTE HOUSE
Commenced in 1844 by Government Architect, Mortimer Lewis, and completed by Robert and Georgiana Lowe in 1845.
Bronte house is owned by Waverley Council and is privately occupied by a lease agreement

It looks, from outside, quite the exotic. I will plan my next move, then update, and likely change upwards my star rating. Exciting!

Open only a couple of days a year, Bronte House is definitely worth a leisurely visit. The gardens are beautiful and there’s a sweet scent like oranges in the air. Lots of little pathways off to secret spots.

Have waited 20 years to visit this stunning house and gardens. Attended the open day run by Waverley council. You can really sense the history of the architecture and stunning gardens. I thoroughly enjoyed this stunning garden and if you have the opportunity when it's open again don't delay and visit.

It's the oldest home in the area and if you are into history and gardens you won't be disappointed.
I look forward to returning in the future.
