My child is enjoying their guitar lessons at rockgod. The teacher takes an active interest in their music taste and chooses songs that are going to be engaging and teaches in a way that is easy to follow and understand.

The cancellation policy is fair and reasonable and taff make an effort to help ensure you get your make up lessons in before the term ends.

Highly recommend Rockgod Music School!
It's great how the students not only learn their instrument, but get the opportunity to play and perform live in a band.
Thanks to Jonny and RockGod Our son has had some great opportunities to perform in the Showcase at the Laycock theatre. Write, record and perform original songs. And a highlight, is the end of term concerts performed at various venues around the Coast!

I have been going to Rockgod for band and guitar/vocal lessons for around 2 years now. Started as a beginner with not much confidence in my guitar playing and singing and the team at Rockgod got me out and onto the stage playing various gigs at different venues. This has added to my confidence not just musically, but as a person. Thank you to my band and guitar teacher Alex and Rockgod owner Johnny for making this all happen. Would definitely recommend.

My son Dylan expressed interest in learning to play guitar at about 6 years of age. I was initially concerned that he was too young, but began searching for a good teacher.

We found RockGod Music School & visited to get a "feel" for the environment. We enrolled Dylan, & quickly discovered that he had a natural talent for the instrument. Combined with an excellent, well structured curriculum, & teachers who can teach, he progressed well. It is a very supportive environment.

Dylan spent about a decade at RockGod, progressing from solo lessons through to performing in a band, & writing songs.
Dylan has certainly benefitted artistically from his time at RockGod, but aside from that, just as importantly along the way he has learned & enhanced many life skills & character traits - self-confidence; self-reliance; a genuine understanding of teamwork; listening skills; questioning skills; mutual respect.
This could be a very long list - but I'll cut it short - he has thoroughly enjoyed RockGod & we are thankful that we took a leap of faith & enrolled him there.

My two kids are ROCKGOD students, and they both love it! There's something for all musical tastes, from the excellent Poptweens project to full-on hard-rockin' bands. My son started with some one-on-one lessons before being placed into a band, and the transition has great to watch. The end-of-term concerts are always a brilliant afternoon/night of entertainment.

Great learning environment! excellent teachers and I went from barely playing chords to soloing like Steve Vai in about 1 years worth of hard work. They really are the best music school on the coast! I strongly recommend it!

Really great experience I'd say for kids in instilling passion for music.
I highly recommend the band programs as they build relationships,as well as confidence and fun at the performances every term. The environment is also very acceptive to all, and there is no judgement at all to any skill ability.
