Such an amazing experience! The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, well priced and very fast service. I experienced the Lion Feeding that was hosted by Amy and Steven and they were so incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Great variety of animals and perfect cozy location. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fun-packed day full of new experiences! We paid for the meerkat experience and it was absolutely worth it. The meerkats climbed all over me and I got to pet all of them!! Steph and Stephen were so friendly and answered all of our questions with a smile. Another highlight of the day was the lion feeding show at 2pm, Steph was the guide for that as well and she was just as great. Overall a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend a family trip at this zoo. (Pictured below is Annabelle who was equally as awesome)

A very nice place along side the river
Nice animals especially the white lions, but no so many
Farm animals are a must for little kids, make sure you have some cuddles from the bunnies and feed the animals in the farm

The emus and kangaroos are hard to feed sometimes, the roos can't be bothered to come and eat

Our favourite was the adventure walk - a bit hard for little kids (wouldn't recommend for less than 7 years) but if you are relatively fit you can get through

A zoo where animals are confined to tiny enclosures, especially the birds, is truly heartbreaking. Additionally, there are monkeys, lions, and other animals who are going crazy and pacing back and forth constantly. For a country like Australia, which supposedly champions animal welfare, there are reasons to question this. This place that makes animals miserable should be shut down.

We camped here. It was a great spot on the river with wildlife wandering around. If you pay for camping, you then only pay one admission fee for the zoo & can come & go into the zoo for the duration of your stay. It's a smaller zoo built on amazing natural rock formations.

Loved every minute of my time at the zoo. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. No question was too hard, and the meerkat experience was brilliant as was the lovely lady who escorted us. The animals were an memory I won't forget anytime soon.

The BEST experience
Everyone was soo lovely, super interactive, staff were really excellent, location is so cool between the lake and rock face .. most of the park is flat.

Hidden adventure here for older kids!
Turned up after reading the reviews expecting a nice time but less excitement with teens.
However there are two "walks" that are much more adventurous than a paved path as you climb up through rock crevices, into caves, up and down ladders and it was great! Although not animal related it is a great extra to this entry. Definitely come wearing good shoes. Everyone loved it. Not suitable for small kids so perhaps why this hadn't been mentioned in other reviews.
The zookeeper chats were all fun and we all enjoyed getting to touch various animals.
Really worth a visit.
