I have been attending the pilates classes at Platinum Physiotherapy for over 10 years and have found the classes to be really helpful in maintaining my core and muscle strength and in managing my back problems. I have also been seeing physio Kim when needed, and she has been very helpful in treating my back problems and provides great advice and helpful exercises to help me maintain my back and core strength. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Platinum Physio to friends and family.

No customer service at all.

I called to say I was 10 minutes late to an appointment that I waited for 3 weeks.

They requested a $50 deposit when booked.
Called them saying I was 10 min late and

Paige said that 20 min app won’t be enough time, specially because I asked that I need them To assess my shoulder and my foot -soy that’s why they give only 30 min app to a new patient? It doesn’t make sense! They even said when I booked that they give me this app but if needed more time I can pay extra! PAIGE didn’t bother to check with the physio -who probably would say to take the $50 - if I could still attend!

So they will keep the $50 and if I want to re book then I would have to deposit $50 again! And the next appointment would be in more than a week.

I found that so rude! Yes, I was late (specially with this rain that doesn’t stop) but as a new patient would have been really nice to be accommodated specially because I’m in a lot of pain I have been in the hospital on Friday because of the pain and was looking forward the appointment as my partner recommended Kim!

I will look for another physio I hope you all happy ripping people off!

I sought out Helen at Platinum Physiotherapy to get her opinion about pain I was suffering after an acute knee injury, which I was worried about. Helen was able to fit me in quickly, which was so appreciated under the circumstances. Helen is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to diagnose, and give me appropriate guidance on healing and care of my injury. I love that she gave me lots of information about the injury so I understood what was happening.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
The practice was easy to find, easy to park at and efficiently organised. Online booking is a big help for the time-poor, too.

I Went to see platinum physiotherapy about a long term achilles injury. Unfortunately their customer service was poor. After seeing Kim, I found her to be disinterested and unengaged, with no genuine care or follow through.

Without ANY 'hands on' testing or properly looking at my scan results, I was told to go against my surgeons request of a moonboot. Kim recommend I take nurofen max dose for 2 weeks followed by a rehab plan. After questioning the reasoning behind this, and explaining my intense pain concerns, she simply said to forward any questions to my GP! Furthermore she then continued with vague or non related responses of my attempts to seek further clarification. This was after I went into great detail telling her how I'd already spent a considerable amount of time visiting numerous doctors... Her response to see another doctor! - This women doesn't know how to read a room!

It seems Kim didn't want to spend a few moments via email helping me understand a few things so I could get get stated, and was more happy to make me wait a further 2 weeks before she would be happy to "clarify my concerns at our next appointment"
Money comes first with these guys.

Don't waste your time with this practise.

I've seen Kim twice and was happy to continue with her method, not hands on so no immediate pain relieve. Uses exercise methods for long term. So obviously twice not seeing any results. However my issue is I rang and left a message on Saturday to say needing to cancel Monday afternoon appointment due to having to get a Covid test.
I rang again Monday morning to confirm and rebook. Receptionist informs me I'll lose my $50 holding deposit as I didn't cancel on a working day. If that's the way they want to run a business during a pandemic I won't be using them/ Told the girl I won't be back!.
So much for doing the right thing. Money hungry much

Have been seeing Kim for a few months now and her treatment for my back & arm issues have proved successful. She is on time and genuinely wants to see the best outcome for her clients. Highly recommend!
