Just recently completed my FIR and design feature training endorsement at Altocap. Only have great words to describe the establishment. The operations were planned thoroughly and always communicated with you, the staff were great and always happy to lend a hand if needed; and the training was quality. The training environment was fast paced, professional but also felt friendly and welcoming.
Would definitely recommend Altocap for flight training!

Completed my flight instructor rating with grade 3 and design feature endorsements here. 10/10 would recommend this school simply due to their vast experience over the years combined with Steve and George who put all the effort into making this place. They have utmost knowledge of the aircraft, regulations and how everything runs. The planes are almost brand new and in great condition alongside a vast fleet to become proficient on. They offer a great maintenance day where one can work alongside engineers and improve their own knowledge upon the inner workings of the plane. Very efficient course as well - would 100% come back.

A huge thank you to AltoCap flight school for their tremendous expertise and guidance whilst I undertook their flight instructor rating course. It's a very well run operation, with friendly staff, a great work environment and a very, very nice fleet of aircraft for all operations and experience. The instructor course is very well structured, with a nice balance of theory and flying. George is very passionate and caring towards each individual, taking a lot of pride in all his students and work.
I can highly recommend AltoCap for all your flying requirements, from an RPL to an instructor rating and more. A really great flying school with staff who will go above and beyond.

I completed my instructor rating here along with the G3A and Design feature. Couldn’t recommend the course more to someone aspiring to be an instructor. Really thorough training delivered here with a great team of instructors. They don’t cut corners and take the time to ensure you’re coping.

Heavy focus on the regulations, aeronautical knowledge and professional delivery of briefings. Had no issues here whatsoever and will miss the team there. If you’re looking for a place to get your FIR, altocap is the place to do it.

Just completed my Flight Instructor Rating with Grade 3 and Design Feature training endorsements, along with my BIF and PMI certificates here at Altocap. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to obtain a Flight Instructor Rating, or anyone wishing to add any upgrades to their rating.
The course is very thorough and is delivered by a great team of instructors with vast experience, particularly in the domain of instructor training.
The fleet consists of a wide range of aircraft, many of which are almost completely brand new.
In addition, Altocap offers a maintenance day, where you can work alongside aircraft engineers and learn the ins and outs of the planes you fly. I personally really enjoyed this experience.

Overall, I would highly recommend Altocap for anyone looking at getting their flight instructor rating!

Conducted my initial flight instructor rating at this school and it was worth it. Proffesional staff, great quality of education and a great fleet of brand new 172s, good old archers which are always fun to fly and a nice 182.

Staff is very friendly and always happy to help and the quality of resources are very good. Would recommend to anyone looking for their instructors rating.

Altocap has a variety of aircraft which was fantastic to learn on both steam and the G1000, high wing and low! The instructors are very thorough with teaching regulations, and ensuring our aeronautical knowledge is up to standard.

Altocap Flight School should be at the top of your list for any general aviation aeroplane training you might be considering.

I have travelled around much of Australia with my work and undergone training at numerous regional flight schools in my travels. Altocap trumps them all.

Altocap is easily at the top of my list for professional, friendly, and reasonably priced training providers. I have worked with the staff at Altocap to complete a Multi-Engine Aeroplane Class Rating, a Command Instrument Rating, and Grade 3 Instructor Rating.

Throughout all of my training the staff have been exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They do a great job of tailoring the training to you and your needs.

Cannot recommend the Altocap team highly enough 👍
