We had an amazing experience at Bendooley Estate for our wedding. From the start, they were incredibly accommodating and made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was fantastic and our guests are still talking about it! Communication on the day was spot on—they kept us informed without overdoing it, which really put us at ease.

Mark is a delight and was so generous and fun in the lead up to our day. Jake, our main contact on the day, was fantastic. He checked in on us regularly and had such a great energy that made everything feel relaxed and effortless. We can't wait to come back in the future and enjoy the Book Barn and cellar door. A beautiful venue with delicious food and terrific service. You can tell the staff truely enjoy what they are doing and their attention to detail and knowledge of the food and wine was outstanding. We particularly enjoyed Angelos. We even came back the next day for a wine tasting. The evening we had dinner, the Estates family were also there for a celebration dining which just made it so authentic and showed the love and dedication that has gone into creating such a beautiful family winery. Well done! We will absolutely be back and have already told the in-laws & friends they must go!

Not only was the wine amazing, the service was outstanding. Special shout out to Peter who went above and beyond to give us the best afternoon! He was so knowledgeable and kind with excellent recommendations. We all took multiple bottles home. 10/10

Everything about my stay at Bendooley Cottages was perfect. The cottage was private, just the right size and had everything needed for a comfortable, luxurious stay. The decorations were interesting and tasteful. Gorgeous bathroom! Super-comfortable bed, sofa and chairs. The air conditioning was quiet and effective (so often not the case!)

The views from the cottage were so peaceful, and watching the various birds (native ducks, wrens, willy wagtails) going about their lives was an added bonus.

The included breakfast was fresh and delicious and the Bendooley staff were, as always, so friendly and helpful.
A special shout-out to Bianca, whose professionalism, helpfulness and prompt attention to detail with my booking went above and beyond.

Thanks for a fabulous stay! Highly recommended.

Very disappointing food and service. Went to lunch with visitors. Ordered about 12.20pm and food came around 1.30pm after twice follow-ups. First follow-up didn't give us the feedback so we asked again. When food finally came, pork was hard it was hardly eaten, duck was bland. Pork, duck and fish tasted not fresh and like from frozen. Burger is below average for the price. Food was definitely not worth the long wait. Complained but nothing was done. Cannot recommend the place anymore.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue than The Book Barn at Bendooley Estate for our wedding. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely flawless. The food was absolutely amazing—our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! And the venue itself? Simply stunning. Every corner of Bendooley Estate exudes charm and beauty, creating the most perfect setting for our special day.

Come for the cellar door wine tasting, skip lunch at the restaurant.

There was a 1 hour 15 minute wait between our entree and mains. Another table nearby was complaining they had been waiting 2 hours. Beef tartar comes without and toast/bread - when we asked, we were told it would be $3 extra.

On top of this, they also got our order wrong - they brought out a second beef tartar, then a random main course.

Nice food but not worth the hassle, plenty of other alternatives nearby.

Our visit to Bendooley Estate was so amazing thanks to Jade, who served us with such warmth and professionalism. From the moment we sat down, Jade greeted us with a friendly smile and made us feel like we were family. It’s rare to find this level of genuine, old-fashioned customer service these days, and we hadn’t experienced anything like it in over a decade.

Jade’s knowledge of the wines and food was impressive, she recommended some outstanding wines and dishes and knew the finer details of every item on the menu. Even when one of our friends was a little overly enthusiastic (a few too many tastings) Jade handled it with grace and good humor, always with a smile.

Her charisma and welcoming demeanor were so memorable that we decided to come back with our family a couple weeks later. Jade is a true asset to Bendooley. This winery has something truly special with her on the team, and we can’t wait for our next visit!
