If you’re looking for an education setup that includes discrimination, unfair grading and inefficient communication, this is the place.
Some teachers and staff members think giving unnecessary hard time to International Students is a part of the curriculum. Just look at the drop out ratio of this institution for facts.
It’s a real shame when fairness and inclusivity take a backseat in a learning environment.

Completely disorganised, not responsive... do not recommend this school as a choice if you have any other options. While some of the teachers are nice and passionate. TAFE as an institution is a money driven machine, where students rights and needs are no where to be acknowledged. Sadly, probably the worst educational experience I’ve had...

I finished my Diploma of Screen and Media here. Not a bad place overall, the teachers for the most part were great, there was only one who was an absolute nightmare.

The department at the time of my studies had issues, there was a lack of communication between the teaching staff. Some of the teachers would act really unprofessionally by pulling students aside and talking badly about other teachers to them - they were hoping to score more work or get some of their rivals fired. Others went a step further and talked badly about specific students in order to isolate them and make them leave. It was really unprofessional and quite disheartening to see.

The course I was studying was also really poorly compiled, they kept changing things drastically all the time. At the end they scrapped a class or two out of the blue, and left me in a bit of a difficult position. After a lot of running around and calls from the heads of department regarding mistakes they made, everything was rectified.

The facilities were decent, the front information desk was very easily accessible. The general equipment they had was good and relatively modern.

Food options nearby, were very limited. The cafeteria is horrific, the food is expensive, incredibly unhealthy and prepared in an unhygienic manner.

The campus life was relatively dead, they did have a small area where you could hang around if you were an association member, other than that it was non existent.

Overall, this TAFE isn't a bad option if you live around the area, but if you're coming to the city by train, then the daily trek to the collage by bus might be rough. There are parking options provided if you drive, however they aren't always available. The general vicinity is nice, and if you're coming in to study a certificate (6 months) or something less involved, then Randwick TAFE might be a decent option. For longer courses I would approach coming here with some caution...

I was at this campus for 1.5 years, I graduated and was asked to do my Advanced Diploma by my peers and teachers but I declined. Later they held some small graduation ceremony and reunion, I honestly didn't care enough about it, so I didn't bother going!

I tried numerous times to get in touch with TAFE NSW Randwick, but to no success. It's very hard to find a direct number to the campus and their e-mail online is wrong, that's why my e-mails failed to be delivered. TAFE need a more user friendly website and direct emails and direct numbers to their different campuses.

I did Certificate 4 in Information and Technology Networking at Randwick TAFE. This was back in 2010 when the courses were actually affordable, I think I paid $400 or something of that amount. The course material was good, teachers were good, we started off with a full class and by the end of the year we had about 25-30 dropouts.
