Loved it here, great resources - dump point, water point, toilets. And a short walk to the dam which was very impressive. Saw wild kangas in the morning at camp and in the dam gardens

Warragamba dam is a decent place to learn about Sydney's water supply and have a family picnic. There is a flat picnic area, viewing spots of the huge water resoviour or lake. There are stairs and walking path all the way from top of the dam's visitor center to the other side of the dam's gates and fall. There is a free shuttle to take people from top to bottom for less mobile visitors. It takes about 15-20 mins walk to see both sides of the dam - the lake side and the fall side. Ample parking is also available. The visitor center is excellent with a lot of information on the dam, water supply and purification process in general. There is a large room for kids to play and parents to sit and watch information videos and view the dam from inside.

Nice place. There is a shuttle every 15min if you want to avoid the not so long walk. Good picnic area too.

The largest water enhancement and supply facilities in the world. Huge park land, BBQ facilities, children play area, dam wall, public toilet and magnificent water view make it must place to visit. Don't forget to visit the visitors and information centre with modern touch screen interactive displays.

May Autumn — Beautiful spot to bring the family to see an Australian autumn. Near enough to Sydney that you can make it a very easy day trip with the kids as there is lots of room to run around. Also walking distance to the Damn lookout. Just do not come here when it is raining, because you will not enjoy it.
