Full Sail has been an awesome experience for my son, from admissions to orientation week, and now taking classes. He calls me to share what he is learning in his classes and shares with excitement. The project-based, real-world assignments ignite a thirst for learning and collaboration with his peers. He comments regularly about the professor's goals of teaching the students how to “learn to learn” to prepare for the gaming industry. Understanding the fast pace and ever-changing nature of gaming, the professors want the students to be ready to hit the ground running and have the skills to tackle the demands of the industry. My son has also shared that he looks forward to class and when he has a break during a 4 hour class, he is excited to get back to class to hear what the professor is going to teach. In addition to the long class days, he will spend several hours in the library working on group projects. These demands/expectations are not met with dread but with excitement. When a student gets to chance learn in an area of passion, pared with meaningful assignments, the requirements become challenges and opportunity for growth.

I am also impressed with the business seminars that are required in addition to the classes. After only two sessions of classes, he is already thinking about networking and building his portfolio. He attended seminars that have sparked more questions and inspired him to research answers to develop his personal brand.

This school is such a refreshing alternative to conventional college. I feel like my son is actually learning valuable information that will be applied to a professional job with skills that employers are seeking.

I highly recommand the Show Production Bachelor program to anyone who is interested in show technology. I graduated from the class of August 2018, and the knowledge I have gained from Full Sail has been valuable and applicable for my career.

This program provides the knowledge of AUDIO (signal flow, DigiCo, Yamaha and Midas consoles, setting up L'Acoustics speakers, microphone placement and selection, communication system / Com, Dante, SMAART, etc.), LIGHTING (conventional fixture, moving-heads, DMX address settings and cabling, grandMA2 console, design and sketching software Vectorworks, etc.), VIDEO (setting up and operating cameras in show settings including SONY and Jib cameras, video switchers, etc.)

Not only they gave me lectures, they also provided a lot of hands-on experiences. They have portfolio classes every few months. In this class, you will need to put together live performances with local artists with your classmates. From contacting the artists given, to the date of delivery, all are handled by us and with the help of the instructors. Besides that, there are a lot of places you can practice your skill by volunteering in other classes' projects, or events operated by Student Event Crew or SPARK, like graduation live stream, Hall of Frame, WWE NXT, etc.)

The instructors are all from the industry, some had experiences with well-known performances and artists. Most of them have been my great mentors during my time studying there. Never hesitated to show me more of each topic that I was interested in.

Full Sail has been a good starting point of my career. There are many more to learn about the show industry, and this program had given me a solid foundation, and an entry ticket to this world.

As much as I loved going here, and got to mess with a bunch of cool equipment, my bachelors degree has put me 100k in debt and hasnt landed me any jobs. I worked really hard to perfect my skills, but nobody will hire me. Their careersync is horrible, and the entire career program is pretty bad.

If you have disposable income, youll get to mess with a lot of stuff. But if you're looking to make some cash, steer clear.

They have very psychologically manipulative sales pitchy staff that will say ANYTHING to get you in the door, believe half of what you hear and even less of what you see.

It’s very close to a cult.

In game design, They don’t have enough room for classrooms so they’ll put two classes lecturing at the same time in the same classroom. It’s very distracting. But when you walk around campus on a break you’ll see dozens of empty classrooms, lots of poor planning on the admin faculty part.

Syllabus and class descriptions are atrociously outdated from months to years.

The instructors just pass people to get them through, it’s pretty evident when you’re in your last classes and none of the online students know ANY blueprint scripting. You have to demonstrate knowledge to get that far, so clearly instructors are giving false passing grades.

The first few months of classes are busywork nonsense. Babies first computer, write bs paragraphs about anything, make a google calendar, lol I wish I was making that up. A good opportunity to learn on your own during those months, but you will see your class drop by 50~80%. Started with like 50 towards the end on campus there were 9.

All in all you’re really just paying for a +\- €80,000 YouTube playlist.

Their focus on real world education is just a cop out for their poorly planned curriculum, and overburdened instructors having to grade too many online students.

Oh if you’re online the instructors forget to record lectures or forget to turn on their microphones half the time.

They allow anyone with a heartbeat into the school. Its frustrating knowing how to use a PC and be surrounded and forced to work with students that don’t even know how to ctrl c ctrl c, or name a word doc and save it to a desired folder.
Then being forced to work with online students that have full time jobs and schedules in a different time zone on top of clearly not learning anything from their previous classes.

Your money and time will be better spent at a state university.

By attending here, you are getting charged tens of thousands of dollars for two years of college and a degree worth less than the paper it was printed on.

A film degree from Full Sail holds less value to a film studio than a generic YouTube channel with short films posted on it.

The sheer waste of money alone will cause you to regret enrolling at this college, never-mind the other glaring issues: Scarce parking spaces, rude professors, THE UNIVERSITY PLACING A LOCK ON *YOUR OWN DEVICES,* and an admin office which actively ignores their emails to name a few.

Note the horseshoe shape in the reviews, many 5's many 1's but not many in between. Red flag 1. They shill with bots for the good ratings. Normal reviews would have a more ascending or descending distributed curve.

They are 100% a fraudulent scam of a school. They will pass people that don't learn or absorb a single thing just to keep collecting tuition/ FAFSA. That is absolutely asinine. Tells me the degree is worthless.

For those of you actually putting in the work, your talents are better served elsewhere.
