I can’t speak highly enough of my experience at this school. From the leadership opportunities, to the educational experiences, the friendships I made over my 13 years of schooling, the extra curriculars, the student teacher relationships I formed and the Christian values which were instilled in me. I would recommend Scone Grammar School to anyone.

We can't speak highly enough of our experience at Scone Grammar School. The teachers were absolutely wonderful since day 1 of our daughter's journey at The Yellow Cottage. Such a caring, dedicated team that goes the extra mile to make sure the wellbeing and education of each child is their priority. A wonderful experience from beginning to end that has paved our daughter's early years with the highest standards of education as well as beautiful friendships and memories.

As being a student at this school. I think I am in the right to write a review about this school.

I will start with the pros and cons of the school

Pros:
The Staff are friendly, and easy to get along with, they deliver great education help and try to go as far as they can to provide information for studying and understandings.

The cleaners are friendly, and are not seen as scary people.

Cons:
Not enough room.
The lockers are jammed against each other, students have to wait before getting to their lockers and end up being late to class sometimes.

Lack of technology knowledge, as the staff are helpful in there department, if their laptops or anything has problems connecting to a projector or similar output products, learning time can be lost. As I personally have lost many hours of this.

The front office is oblivious to what happens within the school. As I have had to come back to school to pick up textbooks to just hand back? Like that doesn't make sense.

The principal seems more of a figure than a leader. And doesn't have much knowledge of what happens in each subject.

They rely heavily on the one IT guy they hire.

Lunch/recess areas are small. There are very small areas to sit and eat quietly.

The teachers are more like "friends" than teachers, it is hard to take very seriously and the pressure of tests and exams are laid off and not very enforced to study. (Not for all teachers)

The "New" building that was built cannot help any students hide if an intruder comes into the school. As all of the walls are glass.
"But that won't happen in Scone" They say...
