Used to be a good tafe. Now, apart from the web site being almost unusable (2025) the policy on air conditioned rooms likely hasn't changed. There motto is have the air con up full blast at the lowest temperature whilst the whole freezes, because the teacher wants to keep cool. Open a window.

The campus is nice.

The content of courses, resources and follow up of any issues with IT however is poor. There is also NO consistency regarding staff quality or review as to what's being facilitated - thats across most recent reviews here actually even those that give above one star.

The Headteacher based out of Kingscliff is completely unable to consider that learners receive ANYTHING but the high quality that he himself provides... to the extent that he outlines how he does it, regardless of its relevance to your situation.. instead of reviewing situations or engaging with students.

TAFE QLD and actually, ANY TAFENSW that I've engaged with over the last 3 years have been SO SUPERIOR that I've used friends' addresses to enrol elsewhere as they keep trying to push me back to Kingscliff.

It was actually faster and MUCH higher quality for me to finish the Diploma via Torrens University, consider if TAFENSW is somewhere that is worth your time and the Government funding before you consider them as your RTO.

I was humiliated. Julia clarke a counselling teacher . RUTHLESSLY embarrassed me in front of another student. What should of been treated personally was ruthlessly exploited by her to make me feel maximized discomfort
She was well aware that another student was present , but chose to ignore that
She had all the power. And she used it .

A complete joke it’s 5.35pm a d the hours are until 6pm to call through. I ended up talking to a person in Ultimo she questioned why I called her? TAFE NSW as an Employer your communications is embarrassing. Pick up your game! I’ve left two messages for one of your Beauty Team leaders with no message back!
Clearly the NSW government is all about broken phone systems rather than investing in education and connecting Employers to their students . Pathetic, appalling !

Great staff very friendly & welcoming.
Can catch bus from inside the grounds to kingscliff then Tweed Heads or catch a bus out the front of new hospital to Pottsville 💜☮💜
