My son has been going here for 3 years and has learnt so much. Family owned and oriented. Highly recommended for people that are looking for their kids to gain confidence in life and skills in protecting themselves.

I Started training with Checkmat team 6 months ago, looking for more direction with my fitness, rather than doing the rounds at the gym. The journey so far has been phenomenal, I have never met a more welcoming group to train with! Thiago and Dan pride themselves on professionalism and tailor their training to all skill levels, it's great to see a team that is devoted to imparting their wealth of knowledge onto their students. Highly recommended.

We can not speak highly enough of this gym. Through the guidance of Thiago, Dan, Mariana and all the other helpers our boys are being learning true life skills. Respect, self control, friendship and confidence within themselves. Not to mention the achievements they have made on their JiuJitsu journey.
We have been welcomed to the gym like family from the first day. The vibe of the gym is great and reflects on the childrens willingness to learn and never miss a class.
Our children will continue to attend classes at Checkmat for many years to come.

Training at Collective Martial Arts has changed my life in so many ways. My son and I have been training BJJ with these guys for the last year and half and our lives have transformed in ways we didn’t think was possible by just joining a gym. We are different people now from when we first walked in the doors.

Collective Martial Arts offers a very family orientated and supportive environment for all ages and ability levels. The coaches are incredible and the classes are super fun, not only for the kids, but for the adults too. Love being a part of this community ~ everyone looks after each other.

I highly recommend these guys, they are truly amazing.
When you join this gym ~ you join a family.

The best jiu jitsu Gym on the Gold Coast. My son love it!!! They are so lovely, caring and compromised with the kids, and the professionals are truely amazing!
